[RUMOUR] Emma Watson from Brown to NYU?

Harry Potter star Emma Watson was spotted touring Gallatin two days in a row last week, accompanied by school administration. Given her modeling career, New York would be a logical fit. Apparently, Brown students say that she’s not on campus anymore.

She did say she loved Brown and that's where she belongs. I am pretty sure of that. Now she wants to go to another college? I don't know about her anymore. Oh well.

Maybe with all the commitments she took Gallatin simply corresponds better to what she wants to do.

Maybe so. She just did talk high on Brown. I just checked her facebook wall. There's been nothing about going to college except in mid jan when she said she was getting ready. Like so much lately I don't get her anymore.

She could have date all the good looking guy at university and want to date city man now.

Wow, people are saying they "don't know her anymore...", she's allowed to change her mind. Look at the kids that go to college and quit halfway through to persue another major. All that education and money down the drain. At least she has the money and resources to do that without worry. Some people here go ballistic and say they've lost respect for her. Really? She has a reason for everything she does and you should respect that. You should be happy that she's not like lindsey Lohan and stumbling out of clubs drunk every night.

She's getting an education and she's one of the smartest actresses of our generation, no matter where she goes to college. Sorry, forgot to finish my comment.

I don't want to say anything, but noone is perfect, including Emma. You know, when people like she or just "normal" people getting into show/or fashion business, they changing, and changing to bad side. It has lots of names like fame game or others... You loosing your head when you getting 3 millions and world fame straight to your hands, but if you're getting this all in such a young age as she, when you're still in a process of growing, you will just "broke up",it's intensively hard to stay yourself in this situation at this age,to stay good and kind. So that's why you can choose the "wrong side". That's what is just may be happening now with Emma, if she just wasn't already been like that.

I disagree. She said she loves Brown. She said it at teh deathly hallows premiere and in many interviews. Now she changed her mind that quickly? She posted on facebook Jan 17th she was getting ready to go back. Doesn't that strike you as odd?

I don't believe peopel care what school she attends. Its more as to how this thing is being played out by her. Awfully shady on her part. It's her life and she has a right to do whatever but ayou can't do things like this and expect your word to be trusted.

in new york also going to drop, she likes the fame and point ... It is very distracting in new york, and will not be able to meet with the university. though I was never interested in higher education

I wonder what students think of Brown? at NYU last thing you find will be anonymous. the paparzzis not going to leave alone, but definitely that's his plan

I understand it as she may be sickened over those topless photos that were circulating the campus and maybe that's why but NYU will be no different. She wants normalcy and now she wants it in NYC? Maybe she thinks "Big city" equals harder to spot her.

Eden said...

The topless photo rumour was a false rumour. If she does go to NY maybe it's because it will be better for business. Maybe she finally realised that she couldn't have a perfectly normal life if she wanted to continue in this industry.

NYU is awesome,but still,is not an Ivy.Sad.

Gallatin is a school of individualized study, means she will be studying there with her own teachers, without any other classmates. She must have been changed Brown to Gallatin for her own safety-there was too much rumours about her, spreaded all around Brown, that's just what is impossible in Gallatin. And,well, it's in NYC,closer to city,to airport,to her home already))) That's why she may choosed it-it's just better for her.

I hope brown student start talking what she was really like. Im sure there will be some friends she made that feel duped over this.

I cannot believe how slighted some people are by the "rumour" of her switching schools...The Gallatin school sounds a lot better for what she wishes to study, and will fit better around her work and need to travel back and forth between US and England. It's her life people! If she wishes to change her mind let her! I would think that she is just tryingto make her crazy life that much easier but at the same time trying to get a "quality" education at the same time. Gallatin is not your everyday type of school and she may not feel challenged enough in the mundane academic of Brown. So it's not and "Ivy" league school. The quality of your education is not always measured by where you are. If she wishes to further expand and get the best education for herself all I can say is "go for it!"

anons above we're annoyed by her misleading comments about brown and her facebook wall post on jan 17th that she was getting ready to go back and never went. She misleads alot.

thats all.

As a person who does individual study, I find it much better for different reasons: there is no pressure, you can take time out if other commitments require, and so for Emma, it would suit her needs better.. At least she has studied to get into college and, rather than just quitting, she is looking into other options! Leave her alone!
