Emma Watson is a diva for Life & Style Magazine - New picture

Source: facebook.com/SalonCutler

People will say what they want, getting hair and make-up done while texting is not my definition of Diva. And I'm not saying that because it's Emma.
And I also think this is not something to take at the 1st degree.

Emma has admitted to being addicted to her blackberry. She obviously was telling the truth. Does not make her a diva though.

Anyone who reads these mags weekly (moi), knows that they do this as a joke. If there's a pic of a female celebrity who's just knelt down to tie her shoes and asked her husband to hold her purse for a quick second, they call her a diva. It's all in good fun. I don't think they mean amy harm, they just want another "story" to tell.

Yeah, I don't know this magazine but that's what I thought. That's why I said it was not a 1st degree thing even though I'm sure some people will love to take this article as a proof that Emma is indeed a diva *rolls eyes*

Seriously, Life & Style? I think Emma Watson is probably one of the last celebrities on earth one could call a 'diva.' I know this is probably, as someone mentioned previously, 'all in good fun,' but is that really the best you could do?

Oh my good you cannot be serious, having your makeup touched up backstage by the backstage makeup team before going out on stage to present a clip at a big awards show, how unreasonable, no! Lol that's why they have tones of makeup artists ready backstage, all the guys get touched up as well.
The mag is doing that as a jokey features, the same way heat or the mirror magazine often do it. Just a funny gossip mag feature lol that's all.

I always text or read when getting my hair or make up done, if someone happened to take a photo would I be a diva? Lmao
They could have equally used pics of Emma shopping and called her normal, or someone like Rupert with an assistant holding an umbrella for him at the last potter perm and called him a diva lol. Celeb mags do stuff like that all the time, it's like when they brand celebs unkept due to a photo without make up, or say they need to get more clothes if they are pictured in the same thing a few times during the year lol.

My uncle works for an airline and looked after Emma on a flight fairly recently. I nearly died when he told me. He said she was quiet, polite and pretty much just read the whole time. So absolute definition of a diva yeah?

Don't take it too seriously, they don't mean it really that bad. I giggled a bit when I saw it. What is she supposed to do when they are doing her make-up and it takes a couple of hours? Just stare in front of her? I think she would've acted like a diva if the make-up artist would've been bothered, it would've been a diva thing, but he is not. And besides, why would we care about this one stupid magazine that's only playing around a bit? Emma's the completely opposite from a diva. Someone who says she is, doesn't know what he/she's talking about.

A diva, imo, would be someone who commands the hair and makeup artists not to look at her as they are fixing her up.

The mtv movie awards only showed that little woman that is her make-up artist and her assistant with emma. Who are these guys? More of emma's entourage? I never saw them before with emma.

They are MTV makeup artists backstage hired for the event. There are also fixers backstage for clothes etc and people who prep you about where to stand, enter and exit etc. All part of a big awards show. You should see the amount of backstage staff at these things, it's like the crew on a movie, it'd amaze you. They check everyone before they go out on stage.

They are MTVs staff. Emma would have had her make up artist in LA to do her makeup before she went and then probably just invited her along. But at the actual event backstage generally the hired people do touch ups unless you ask for your own people to do it. Her makeup artist was probs just Emmas guest for the show, if she even was a makeup artist and not just a friend.

Oh I took too long typing my answer lol!

This is obviously not a Diva moment!

However, the video clip showing Emma in her seat at the MTV awards with the asian women sitting next to her grooming her hair, and her PA in the next seat over telling people to get lost and not bother Emma right now, and then her date/boyfriend? in the next seat over looking like a lost puppy dog, may be a bit diva - ish!

Did Kristin Stewart have anyone between her and R.Patt?

Hailee Steinfeld, Emma Stone? Did they have people fussing over them while at their seats? Probably backstage or something, but in the audience?

I just wonder ... did anyone in the whole audience other than Emma have assistants sitting next to her and then her .. whatever Johnny is.

This could be a diva moment for Emma. No big deal, but it was a bit strange.

I notice it are always women who are diva's and men who are down to earth. Quite sexist tbh.

she is a freaking cellphone addict! xD

I don't know who the make-up guy is but the hair guy is Rod Cutler, the hairstylist who cut Emma's hair short.

Eden,I doubt it's Rod,Emma's stylist is Charlie Anderson, just read these news: http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/news/fashion/529087/princess-beatrice-hires-emma-watson-s-stylist.html Or Emma has few stylists.

It's him, he's her hairstylist, not stylist.

same with misha barton. its normal to have someone who holds your umbrella at a premiere or award show.
