It's almost surreal to see the first and third pictures, and then to see the little girl in the second. She really has grown into a intelligent and beautiful young woman.

I've seen this picture but I think the girl looks more like Katie Chang.

I love the 1st picture so much! And I agree with the first comment. It's so mind blowing to see the little girl in the middle photo! She's so gorgeous. A true role model.

What a sweet innocent child on the 2nd picture)
I think it's around 3rd HP film.

Actually I don't like grown up Emma at all, just interested what will happen to her.

I love how the 1st one's from facebook, the 2nd one's from twitter, and the 3rd one's from tumblr. I just find it funny. hehe. she looks so different in the 2nd one.

I agree to a point Chudo. This Bling Ring character I find distasteful little thief. I'm hoping that Emma can give her something that we can accept her, even feel for her- I guess that will be her challenge. Emma will give us many roles in the years to come, where the real person is buried in all these characters of the years is - I think the question for any actor.

@Chudo "Actually I don't like grown up Emma at all"

Why not? She seems to be a nice person overall. We will need to wait and see "Perks" "Bling" and "Your Voice in my Head" before we can determine how strong her post Potter acting career will be, but I don't understand why you don't like her a all. What's wrong with her?

Chudo said...

@Gilbert "What's wrong with her?"

I think she behaves herself like a big headed person. That expression on her face that intended to be cool looks just awful & stupid.

"She seems to be a nice person overall."
Maybe or maybe not. Noone really knows). Nobody here has been her friend or just close to her enough to prove or refute it.

@Chudo: How you could be so interested in what happens to her, yet you don't like her? If I didn't like someone as a person, there's no way I could be into them as an actor, let alone follow their career. It just doesn't make sense.

It's almost like you're an updated version of that Echee Wah-Wah that used to be on here.

One doesn't exclude the other.

I have been looking after her life for 8 years now. It's like reality show. Of course I want to know what will be with the character next.

"If I didn't like someone as a person, there's no way I could be into them as an actor, let alone follow their career."
In that case we are different persons.

"It's almost like you're an updated version of that Echee Wah-Wah that used to be on here."
I am that I am.

After Tilda Swinton defended roman polanski I lost a lot of respect for her as a person, but she is one of the best actresses I've ever seen so I still follow her career but I really don't like her that much anymore.
So it's not difficult for me to believe that this person might be curious how Emma is going to do while not liking her that much. Everyone does things differently.

Those that know emma like her. I went to school with her. She was always respectful toward others and a lot of fun.

emma seems to be very ambitious but at the same time she a very lovely woman. That might be the reason some people find her pretentious because ambition and kind heart mostly cannot co-exist.But i think emma watson has both qualities abundantly.LOVELY PERSON

I have trouble seeing her as truly ambitious. She hasn't finished anything she has started yet exept the HP films, which were great. I see her in beauty adds- sure making a lot of money. But is that being ambitious. For me ambition means setting a goal, seeing that goal through and then start building on that goal reached.
She hasn't finished college yet, but has prized that as her #1 goal.
She has been in beautiful modeling adds, but that is already getting boring when very little comes other than a movie. What happened to the Renaissance Woman. She is starting to get boring because she doesN't her goals through. There are a lot of models running around with a beautiful body and face but very few that have a beautful body, face and a great brain that actually have done something with it.
Emma start getting interesting again and be that Renaissance woman

To anon above...getting straight A's in school while having a hectic carrer is i imagine was tough to manage. She might want to be a renaissance women but that takes a lot of time and as for this past decade she did a fantastic job at making every minute count. And since potter is over she is getting big opportunities from good directors and i personally think she will excell and be relevant for a long time

I think Emma can be TOO ambitious at times, which can rub some people the wrong way. She seems to want to do as much as she can, as soon as she can. In roughly 4 years since she graduated her school, she has collaborated her own clothing for People Tree and modeled for them twice, modeled for Burberry and is an ambassador for Lancome, was in a music video, has filmed 5 films, was a muse for an artist, and has attended 2+ years at university. And that does not include her personal life and how much time she spends trying to be a sister, daughter, friend, girlfriend, and persuing her own love for the arts with painting, photography, and writing that she doesn't show to fans. That's a lot she has tried to do in a relatively short amount of time, I just hope she doesn't wear herself thin overtime.

Do we really have proof Emma is an artist?Photograpghy?Painting?....She may want to do that but all that can be done by anyone who has the time & money.Let's not forget that people like us have jobs.Emma's job consisits of acting for a couple months, making millions, then having plenty of time to do other things.Read, study, etc.She may appear to be busy, but trust me.She has lots of time when you don't have a "real" 9-5 job like the rest of us.

Emma is ambitious girl , which I love about her ,
and in my opinion ambitious means your desire to achieve a certain goal no matter how much time will take , as you insisting to reach it!

she is such a busy young lady , and lately has recieved a great opportunities!and she tries to complete her study besides improve her acting by work with a great directors and actors ,

at least she considering going to school wich is really great and when you comparing her with other stars of her age , you will find that she is really amazing and unique and deserves to be inspiration for some people.

Love her <3

its unfair that actors make millions...while true hero's in real life are being paid close to nothing.

Amanda Foreman for Vogue Magazine was impressed with Emma's artistic ability last year, 32. http://www.vogue.com/magazine/article/emma-watsons-new-day/#1

You should not forget she's only 22. People her age usually still go to school, they don't have a 9 to 5 job. And I'm sure she's VERY busy compared to a "normal" 22 year old.

According to Emma Watson's twitter,it seems that she is done filming the Bling Ring and is back in London...WTF,am i wrong?

@ Chris - interviewers are always supposed to be complimentary to celebrities, particularly the smoke blowers who write for Vogue. Actually, every Vogue cover article I've read always seemed like fanfiction.

I think Emma is very intelligent. That is clear when she begins to speak. But she dabbles ambitiously in many things.Wonderful, she makes money with it- if that is what you want. Of course she is young and has a lot of time. But other young people have completed college at that age and are being introduced into the working world. I like Emma, but more and more I see her expressing, lots of money, being desired for movies and being famous is the hat of her goals. Fine if that is what she wants. But that is not being a Renaissance Woman. My experience that people who dab too much in many pots don't accomplish anything worth speaking of. I believe that danger for any celebrity is the decline into superficiality and not discovering the developing the true self.

Dabbing in many pots seems true, but that could also be experimenting to find your niche. I think Emma is young and needs room to spread her wings.
