As beautiful as ever! Is emma really going to be in a Seth Rogan movie, Seth and the Apocolyplse?

She's fast becoming rather generic. It would be enlighting to see her do something a bit different- granted,Perks isn't exactly "Holy Cricket" but she seems to be being Americanised and I don't like it.

Is that pic from the shoot for the vogue cover or just a random any pic?

Eden said...

It's for Vs Magazine, not Vogue. And I think she's getting her makeup done there.

Emma is the English Rose with her own personality. I think Emma is very versitable. She has to be if she wants to be successful in this business. Just sitting around in UK waiting for the roles to come knocking at her door would most likely be very unsuccessful. And being Americanized- Meryl Streep is American and considered the best actress in the business today. This is accepted world-wide. Being American is not generic. Being American is being who you are out of very diverse cultural backgrounds. Is Britishized generic. It's all in the point-of-view. I am proud of American, even while living in Europe.

Does anyone know if there is an official trailer out on perks yet. It really seems overdue.

Jason said...

Thanks Eden :). Looking forward to the Vs Magazine when it comes out.

There's no word about a date for the Perks trailer. The movie is out in September, so I think there's still time before the release of the trailer to be considered late.

"Being American is being who you are out of very diverse cultural backgrounds."

Being who you are out of your own cultural backgrounds is impossible. No roots -> no past -> no future.

And I think Emma wouldn't agree if she were said that she wasn't British anymore.

IMHO

P.S. Sorry for my mistakes if I've made them.

Hey guys, the votes are open on MTV, gotta vote for Emma, Rup, their kiss, the movie, and everything to make sure they win something at the next mtv movie awards ! ^^

Moreover I love this picture !
I understand that some fans may feel a little weird to see her becoming a woman, sure of herself and sexy, but there is nothing wrong about that. She is evolving as a person, we can't expect her not to change, as we are changing oursellves - with a lot less pressure on our shoulders ^^
This pictures to me shows she is having fun, and sometimes it feels good to see her enjoy what she lives, because nice gentle (fake) smile does not make the lot look apealing.

Chudo what nonsense are you speaking. American have very strong cultural roots. I do think Emma sees herself as British but open to understanding and learning. -why is it impossible to be who you are out of your own cultural background? We all evolve out of a cultural background- and if that background is Alabama, deep south with Irish roots. But Americans today are aware of this and seek their roots.

How did you even get this picture?

As usual, I put a link to the source at the end of the article.

Unless Dan, Rupert , or Emma are announced that they're going, don't even bother watching the MTV Movie Awards. They only invite the winners.

Personally, I don't care if HP wins or loses, it's a televised poll for crying out loud.
______

I love this pic of Emma! She has such a fun personality, and I love how these types of pics of her show it off.

Does anyone else think that she might have lost some weight recently?

Please write about the Harry Potter cast's nomination in MTV Movie Awards 2012 & tell people to vote for them so they can win! :) The voting opened today!

I don't write about nominations here, only on the facebook and twitter page of the blog.

"why is it impossible to be who you are out of your own cultural background?"
Because it's the same like being an adult without a childhood.

"American have very strong cultural roots."
What Americans are you talking about? If about the ones that live in the reservations now then yes, they have. If about the ones that _arrived_ to America and that is the biggest part then no, they don't. They left their culture.

Chudo, families have cultural traditions from the old country that they honor to this very day. Yes, much is made American because the immigrants had to forge a new life in the wilderness. But people are well aware of being German, English, Irish or any other descent. They took their traditions with them and forged them new in a new land. That is what makes the USA a great country, the creativity and ingenuity and strength to create new out of the old. God bless America!

Think we;re getting pretty off topic here :p

Lovely picture, thanks Eden.

"families have cultural traditions from the old country that they honor to this very day."
Glad to hear this. But to keep some traditions and to be brought up in the culture are different situations for me.
So we have different ideas of the "cultural background" and there is nothing to discuss anymore I think.

"the creativity and ingenuity and strength to create new out of the old"
And it would be better if this great creativity stayed within US borders.

did she dye her hair again? (i mean to her natural color)

Emma's face defintaly looks skinny in this picture particularly in the jaw & chin area.Usually she has a little flab going on but that could be just from the expression she is making. She has been so busy this past month, maybe she hasn't eaten all that much.Or maybe,it's just the camera angle.

You seem a bit closed minded Chudo. But OK. Everyone has a right to their opinion.
