She went last year and HP lost every award, so I don't know what to think about this. KStew is going, also. It could go either way.

Maybe a new Perks clip, though!

I can't wait to see the trailer! :)

I got so wrapped up on Emma going that I didn't read the whole story.

I change my comment to "can't wait for the new trailer!!!!"

Since they're there to present a clip, I now have very little hope that HP will win. It's the same as last year.

has anyone heard about who the new director for your voice in my head may be. The director makes all the difference.

SO EXCITED FOR THE TRAILER! Ahh and I'll bet Em looks stunning in whatever she wears, as she always does!

Well, I have a reason to watch this year. I normally like these shows because when it comes to real categories, talent has nothing to do with the winners.

I meant, don't like :P

I don't care if she wins or loses. I'm just excited to see the trailer and the dress she will wear!

Pre-Show? What is the Pre-Show?

I read in a blog, that Emma was to play in the upcoming film 50 shades of gray. I don't recall the blog. Has anyone heard anything along this line?

I don't know if it was true but I'd love to see it! There's only 1 problem. I've never read the book, but I heard that the main female character is a college student that isn't exactly a beauty queen. I heard this from Wendy Williams (who read the book), and she said that Emma Roberts would be a good actress for this role. Not too pretty, yet not ugly either.

Like I said, I've never read the book. If Wendy Williams is right, and the main character is just supposed to be a plain-Jane who isn't gorgeous, then I don't think Emma would be right for the role.

Also. @anon: The "pre-show" is just an article MTV put on their site previewing what celebs are going to the show, who's nominated, what clips they're showing, etc... It's nothing important, really.

Not only is Emma, Erza, and Logan presenting the first Perks trailer, but according to MTV they will also be presenting an award together which is pretty cool.

what wendy williams said isn't entirely true. Emma plays sam, who is a high school senior, while Charlie is a freshman, and she takes him under her wing. She isn't supposed to be a popular pretty type of girl, but charlie is in love with her, so in his eyes she is quite beautiful. I think Emma will do great in the role.

@anon 8:54- I wasn't talking about Perks, I was talking about the main character in 50 Shades of Gray. :)

To all you HP fans,if you want to see the way the Deathly Hollows should have played out,go watch the Deathly Hollows Claymation.I never like David Yates as a director....Alfonso made Harry Potter magical while Yates ruined it...I think Emma Watson was SO WRONG when she said,"it was a fitting finale"....i coulnd't disagree more and i love her.Harry Potter will ot win any awards, its just not that good of a movie but the series as a whole is great....But the best movie by far is of course,Prisoner of Azkaban...Done so well and better tha the book....But the Claymation is so Great too for the Deathly Hollows!!

I think $1.3 billion worth of ticket sales will disagree with you, CutiePie32. I like Cuaron, but he, too botched a lot of things in the movie. Starting with the fact that every student all of a sudden started wearing muggle clothing and continued wearing them throughout the series. Every director had their faults when directing HP. Aside from taking out a lot of RonMione moments and adding odd scenes here and there, Yates is my favorite.

It's your opinion, but it was the best reviewed HP by fans and critics and it made the most money. If anything, it has the best chance to win awards (DH2 already won A TON of awards at this years People's Choice Awards-so saying DH2 won't win any is a little moot.)

Comparing claymation to a movie...?

Claymation wins beleive or not........

I think the HP films were done too early: after the first or second book.To me it seemed that at times they were filming in the dark. I think Doby should have been much more present until the finale. He was the friendly Gollum.I don't think any of the movies were great, but I watched them all and bought all the DVDs.They were entertaining, but nothing more.

For 50 Shades of Gray I read somehting about the role of Ana. I don't know anything about the story.

I think it would take a real strong storyline and possible award possibility for Emma to even consider such a porographic role. And even then I don't think she would do it.

I didn't know 50 shades of grey was pornographic. You're right, Emma wouldn't do it and shouldn't. You don't have to go into the nude to demonstrate being a good actress. The best films, Oscar material hardly or never embellish their story line on nudity for cheap kicks. I guess a story can want it, but must it be graphic to get the point across or do the producers only want to buy viewers with nudity. I don't think these are the best movies. Only my opinion.
