Have questions for Emma Watson?

The day you all waited for has come! Exaggerating much? Emma will finally answer some fan questions. Here's how it's working:
Hello Everyone,

Emma has agreed to start answering some of your questions! If you would like to ask Emma something related to her acting career, please head over to her Facebook Page where you can submit a question.

We will post up some of Emma's answers to your questions on a fairly regular basis - starting tomorrow!
UPDATE: All questions and answers can be found HERE.

Jo, from forum.emma-watson.net, who met with Emma to figure all that out, kind of answered some questions/suggestions already:
Q: Hi Jo, my first question would be: what does EMMA want? Because, we, her fans, can write pages with wishes and suggestions, if Emma does not want to do it, well, we had a nice time wishing..... What I mean is, that she needs to sort out her prioritys (thank's Ron!) and give us, her fans, the information about her and her work, she wants. But, please, actual and in time. Following Emma as a "real fan" only for a few month and beeing in the PR-Business for over 30 years, I think, she has no real strategy. Ok, reading the messages on FB after each new posting from her, I can understand, that this must be sometimes creepy.... I think, without knowing her in person, that she is not really a fan of social networks. Because these networks are for frequent interaction, and I dearly hope, she is more chatty in person then on fb or twitter.....

A: I think Emma is coming to terms with Twitter a bit more now. Obviously you can only write a certain amount on twitter...so can never be "chatty" on there. She is of course more talkative in person.
Q: So I would suggest, that she and her team works out a new strategy for the communications with the millions of fans by launching a new, comprehensive homepage with all information and updates, fans and cineasts needs to follow her career and her movies.

A: That's what we are trying to do. Emma is very focused on being an actress now - she wants people to take her seriously as an actress and so this is why you will never find out too much about Emma's personal life. I don't want to say too much about this because Emma has answered a question from one of the people on this board and it covers why she doesn't want to parade her private life around.
Q: "Ask Emma" would be a great thing, and she could choose each month, lets say, 30 questions to her work, she really wants to answer.

A: I think 30 questions a month is asking a bit much, Emma doesn't often have a great deal of time. But we will (very soon) start posting questions with Emma's answers on the website, maybe one at a time semi-regularly. We discussed the possibility of an #AskEmma on Twitter when Perks comes out. I don't want to say it will definitely happen, but it is certainly being considered.

That's pertty cool that she is doing that, although I feel bad for the person(s) that has to sort through all the comments just to find actual questions about her career for Emma to answer.

who's Jo and how did she come in contact with emma?

Jo was the head of Emma-Watson.net and when Emma made her site she asked Jo to do that instead of e-w.net.

I think 5 encompassing questions once a month would be great? But is this something that is really necessary. One likes emma for her talents in acting, I really don't care what else she does. I will watch a movie she is in when she is in it, other than that I don't care.

oh, i know that part about Jo, thanks for answering though. i was just wondering if Jo was originally a fan or a personal friend of emma's. As in, how did they come across each other LOL

Is this definitely real? I mean do we know this Jo is the actual Jo? I know I'm being cynical, but as there's been no confirmation from Emma or on her official pages...?

When did Emma answered why she doesn't want to parade her private life? Do you know Eden? May I have her answer please?

It's so nice to see Emma tweeting more. Before, it was mostly just business. Now, she jokes around, and is tweeting with celebs (Jonah Hill is the most recent). It's nice to see her having fun with it.

Btw, have we seen Jo? Has she been to any of Emma's premieres?

This info came from Emma's site. Maybe you van mention that, Eden? It was kind of confusing to me... Sorry.

when will her answers be posted?

i really doubt that this will happen. emma watson is busy all the time, i don't see her taking time every month answering fans questions

I don't see any point of this. She will only answer what we already knew. Like its been officialy confirmed she will play in Perks, and you ask if it is true and she will say "yes". If you ask about if she had been on any casting, or read any interesting script lately that she liked she won't answer to that. Like with her official page, or Twitter or FB page, she rarely updates it. I agree with that person in the interview she should come up with a better strategy in that matter.
We want information about her plans, what would she like to do, what is she interested in. And I am not talking about " Oh I want to act" " I like fasion". I am talking about "Oh yeah I am really interested in X script" I would like to play an evil character to prove XY..." or " I am really attached to XY project..." Because lets be honest HP is over I give 1-2 year if she won't take on more interesting projects that will be watched by nonfans than she will be forgotten quickly and rememberd forever as the girl from Harry Potter.

that´s great, but 30 questions in a month is too much? I can´t help but laugh at this.I´m very busy too and I would be able to answer 30 questions in 3-4 hours in a one day....

She has the time,, she just doesn't care enough

I'm shocked to see how rude people are here.
And you consider yourself fans ?
You have no idea of the life she has and i'm pretty sure half of you is not even half as busy as she is.

Anyway, you take her like your slave "she has to tell us, she must answer us..." wtf.

When I read the question, I got ashamed that somebody even thought of saying this "What I mean is, that she needs to sort out her prioritys (thank's Ron!) and give us, her fans, the information about her and her work, she wants. But, please, actual and in time. "
That's unapropriate ! Of course we would like to have some news but here you're not even begging, you're demanding.

I'm f*** disgusted by the attitude of some of her "fans".

^ you are soo right. , well said my darling !!

Some visitors aren't fans actually. ,, just seeking for anything wrong with her !! Sadlly

Being a fan doesn't mean worshipping somebody, it means that you like her, you are interested in her. Blindly loving everything about her doesn't make you "true" fan, you are just obses over her. If you can see her faults and still like her, and support her than you are a fan.
And yeah she is a great person, I wish her good, but she is an actress. She lives from our money, we pay her for doing what she likes to do. We can see her talent in return, giving pleasure by her performance. But being an actress has it's other, less pretty side. She has to do selfbranding, to have more people who are willing to pay for "her". Fans have their needs, want to know more about her, her plans and decisions (its a fair demand, like with a firm, they all update about their goals and such, we werent asking her to tell about her private life). If she doesn't statisfy these needs she will get less roles, less money, less attention. Its her choice, what she wants, she will decide, nobody forced her. Its not nice, its not pretty because it all about selling herself, but this is how it works. She is lucky , she has enough money to eat, have a pretty home, to travel, to do anything she wants, she has a job she likes, she has enough money to pay for her education, she is healthy and has a loving family. It more than 70 % of the people could say about themselves. I won't pitty her, but I really wish her a happy life. If she can't take the paparazzies and fans demanding then she should quit, or take smaller roles and let her self be forgotten. I would be sad if she did that because she is unique and strong, great role model for all of us, but people are people, they won't change.

I don't see emma doing acting forever. She is enjoying the ride after Potter and seeing how far it takes her. She is not the type of person that will take rawnchy roles. She will take good roles. And if they don't come rolling in anymore, she will have her education to fall back on. She doesn't need acting to be successful, but she wants to act for now for success. By 30 to 35 I bet she will have moved on to writing, directing or being an artist.
