New picture of Emma Watson with Mark Demsteader

Emma had posed last year for the artist Mark Demsteader. We already had a picture of them together, but here's another one from 'Emma', a solo exhibition held in July 2011 at Panter & Hall Gallery.

When was the photo taken?

I wonder if Emma actually owns any of those pieces of work? I don't know if it would be cool or weird to own a painting of yourself.

If anything, I'm sure he gave her a few printed copies, like the ones they were selling to fans. I'd love a copy of a painting someone did of me. It would make me happy knowing someone pointed me out specifically to paint.

Cute pic, except I can't get over the weird lighting. It almost hurts my eyes.

She wanted to pay for his work, but he gave her a piece for free.

It appears that Emma has become a muse for Mark Demsteader and now recently for Derek Blasberg's book 'Very Classy'..., will her powers never cease. I hope not. :)

Emma is a multi-talented person, and one of these talents is making herself desirable enough without suggesting pure sexuality. People usually perceive that type of media presence boring in the long haul. Emma suggests something enduring and changing with a touch of hope for everyone. She is sexy but not dirty; she is intelligent but not reigning; she suggests much talent and we are waiting. And I am pretty sure that this fan waiting will be rewarded with many different expressions of creativity. I am in particular interested about what she will write, since she has said that she wants to write a novel. Bit I am also looking forward to every film she is involved in or later even creatively creates. In short, Emma will show us her side of creativity. I think she is a talented actress, who needs to develop her craft but who definately has potential. If an artist like this man takes her as his muse, what else can one say.

I am looking forward to her paintings. And yes, when she would write a novel, I would definitely read it.

Having wealth, contacts, and a large, ready-made, global fan base can definitely get her foot in the door in many her future endeavors. However, it will be her ambition to be successful, influence, and intelligence is what will carry her in the future. It is her depth that we do not see is what will sustain her in whatever she pursues.

Maybe one day we will see the fruits of her other skills…

Anyone can sound multi-talented on paper. I hope she can show us these many talents she suggests she has! That would be lovely :) Otherwise, it'd just be all talk and no action. That's not very fair to us fans

She never promised us paintings and books. She may be enjoying it as an amateur, as so many people do. Let's not expect or demand too much.

Emma is going to film Noah in Oyster Bay, Long Osland! I live less than 30 minutes from there (I'm down in Hewlett).

Holy crap she's so close!!!! Rupwrt's running the torch in London, it's a great day to be a HP fan.

In the TIME interview, Emma said that she wants to paint, to write, to act- in short to be a renaissance woman. I think she has the talent and intelligence to pull these things off-had a few classes with her. WOW- what a brain!

You had? Wow indeed!

On Emma's Facebook it says that she is currently filming The end of the world. Isn't that old news? I thought she was already done with that. Eden, do you know what's going on?

I'm lost too. Emma was talking about a Noah read 3 days ago so I find it weird that she would be filming TEoftW now. There's also the fact that she keeps being spotted in New York, and that's not where TEoftW was filmed. I think Jo is probably the one who wrote the message on facebook and maybe she just made a mistake.

It seems like posts written in advanced and are being posted at an interval, so they perhaps did no pay close attention to the tense of it.

Her work with The End of the World is completed.

Anthony Hopkins will be playing Methusah in Noah- a truly stellar cast. Emma will be playing with the best in the business young and old- saoirce Ronan, Logan Lerman, Russell Crow- just to mention 3. If she does this part well- also Your Voice in my Head- she will be counted amongst the best.

You're so right. We have only so far seen these talents per suggestion. Although intellectually she has much to offer, the depth of it has yet to be seen. Sure she dabbled in a few things as do many young people at a certain age. Time will tell- but I also want to see action now to all these suggestions of talent- and not just acting. I want to see this Renaissance Woman in depth which she had aclaimed for herself at the TIME interview in 2011. But as long as she is at uni, she'll be dabbling on campus and in the film scene.
