They didn't even interview her, they just had a quiz most of the time. And they didn't even talk about her movie, it was just "here's a clip" now let's get back to our game.

coslopus said...

Wow this "interview" was really bad. You could tell by the look on Emma's face that even she thought this was stupid. She almost looked like she just really wanted to get out of there as fast as possible before they made her do something else from "the 90s".

Is that how this show is supposed to be? Odd quizzes without a real interview?

CutiePie32 said...

i am really upset to see Emma swearing.!1st she says "Shit" in Perks, then in that interview she says "i can't f.cking wait, then she says "F'ed up.....What happened to the Emma Watson that whisperd "a Condom" on the Letterman show 2 years ago?

Anonymous said...

She's 22 and a grown woman. She can do whatever she wants.

Jason said...

@cutiepie92 - her swearing doesn't change anything. eeyone swears. you dont hear it much on tv shows cuz most of them there not allowed to swear.

Anonymous said...

She grew up CutiePie32, sorry if that bothers you so much. If that bothers you, you're gonna be pissed if you see her doing drugs in The Bling Ring

CutiePie32 said...

i am going to be pissed. So,if we grow up,that gives us the right to throw out profanity?...Seems the older we get the less wiser we are.Emma doing drugs in the Bling Ring is going to probabley destroy my Emma obsession.i fell in love w/ her back in the summer of 2010 when she cut her hair,She seemed so nice back then. But the past year, she seems more & more untouchable, famous and i don't know.Kind of liked her more when it was just HP.But now,she really is becoming a star and its a turn off for me.I hope i meet her one day,but i really miss the short hair. She looks like a little girl again. When she had that pixie, she seemed like such a woman.it's just me but i noticed my feelings change slightly about this girl over the span of 2 years

sparkvark111 said...

CutiePie,

OMG...Cutie :/

Emma is a grown woman and will continue to change and mature. She is not the same girl that she was 10 years ago and will not be 10 years from now. Let it go. I do not think she would want to be pigeon-held her as the buttoned-up Hermione forever. :|

Anna said...

@Cutie Pie,

Besides, there IS a difference between the things you say and do as yourself or in your character.

Of course you're allowed to be a little disappointed.

Anonymous said...

Okay, but what is she morphing into, if her maturation is based on profanity. Psychologically speaking, profanity is always a regression.

Anonymous said...

Maybe she curses with her friends and now that she's not really "protecting" her image for Hermionr anymore, she feels more comfortable doing it in public. It's really not uncommon for people her age to be cursing honestly. I really don't see what's the big deal.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 7:34:00: You just dissed 95% of the world. If cursing is a sign of regression, then 95% of the world is regressing as we speak.

Now, I understand you probably feel that way because that is what your parents taught you, but let's get real for a minute. Everyone curses now and then. It's a form of expression that was once thought of to be taboo. The same can be said for gay marriage. The world is growing up and maturing, but it seems that some people just can't in some ways.

Look at television. You can say b!tch, crap, sh!t, jerk and others in prime-time shows that are on at 6, 7 and 8 at night when little children would be watching them. Well, except for sh!t, but now I heard that word a few times as early as 10pm. I'm just wondering, do you avoid television shows that have cursing in them all together? Or it is just that you idolize Emma to the point of you want her to be prim and proper, a perfect little angel?

sparkvark111 said...

There are many people curse or use expletives, but there is a time and a place for it. There are even people that you would not expect that have said it.

Anonymous said...

Being a fan to someone is not putting that person on a pedestal and upset when they change how they are in life. An actor needs to do different roles in their life. Look how Robert Downey Jr, he started mainly in the movie Weird Science'as a bully. Now due to Iron Man he is a more rounded actor. So give Emma a chance to show her skills as well.

Anonymous said...

If you get upset about 2 or 3 nasty words or get upset because she ACTS to be high.. You're not a true fan in my opinion. But I'm sure Emma doesn't care what people like cutiepie think. Otherwise she wouldn't curse or take these parts :)

CutiePie32 said...

And in turn,i start not to care for her anymore....(notice i said start not to care)...i still care

Anonymous said...

you obviously care a lot if you check this site so often......

Anonymous said...

Cutiepie, are you a fan of Emma or Hermione? It almost sounds like you don't want Emma to be anything but that prim and proper CHARACTER and not herself.

CutiePie32 said...

i'm not even sure anymore....i really like Emma back in 2010/2011,,,,and i still do.I went to NYC at her pentouse yesterday for heaven's sake.Just dissapointed that's all.

Anonymous said...

That's rather creepy and scary that you keep going to Emma's apartment, and earlier you talked about going to other places in NY just because she's been there. Those actions sound like the type of fan that celebrities fear for their safety and lives.

CutiePie32 said...

I would never harm her.i am the type of person who wouldn't harm a fly and i hate violence in all forms. But women can drive men crazy.Sophie Sumner tweeted that she saw the Empire state building yesterday and i must have passed it like 7 times yesterday too.The chances that i could walk by Emma Watson in NYC are not very good but it's NOT impossible.i'm going to have to find a way to meet her.

Chris said...

You're right it's not impossible, especially when you are stalking her like a predator. I've seen your twitter account Lou32, I would argue that your obsession is not healthy. Anon is right, you really seem to be taking fandom to a potentially dangerous level, not just for Emma but for yourself as well.

CutiePie32 said...

Hey,at least i'm trying to meet her.i think it's rathr pothetic of ALL OF US just wishing we could meet her and have to resort to online sites just to get a glimpse of her.i'm trying my best to meet htis girl.So give me some credit.Although i must say,i do feel closer to her somtimes when i'm on my pc rather than in NYC.So close, yet so far away.Ride home always sucks because i failed yet again to meet her.

CutiePie32 said...

There is a girl that i work with who looks just like Emma Watson. She gets it all the time. She just started on the job but she's only 20 yrs.old..i would have to consider myself a little lucky as of late. She's also like 5'10"

Anonymous said...

What would you do if you met her CutiePie?

CutiePie32 said...

i would look into her eyes and if she looks back i'll smile.i would not open my mouth. Not a word.Unless she says "hello"

Anonymous said...

That seems like a waste after looking for her so long! So you would just.. walk past?!

Anonymous said...

What if she doesn't even notice you?

CutiePie32 said...

it's NOT a Waste....at least i would be able to say i saw her in person and not at some signing. She would not notice me but if she did, that would be even better.Way too many people in NYC that are good looking i'm afraid. The only way Emma would truley notice is if you went out with one of her girlfreinds or maybe a freind of a freind.Either way, this is a goal of mine that i will try to acheive in life.

Anonymous said...

wow cutiepie. based on your sn and comments i thought you were a 12 year old girl, but it sounds like you're a grown man who should know better. it's a bit worrisome.

the research on stalkers indicates that they tend to be most dangerous when they feel their idol has somehow "changed" or "disappointed" them. i really hope that emma's security team is top notch. i'll leave it at that.

Ana said...

Guys we know nothing about CutiePie, and have no right to judge. I get the feeling this could go a bit nasty... so lets quit whilst ahead :)

CutiePie, I'm sure Emma wouldn't want your being a big fan to interfere with your everyday life, don't forget to live for you too!

Eden, thanks so much for the updates, you caught up with everything so quickly! Hope the new computer is better for you :)

Oh and everyone thinking this is a crappy interview - T4's style is always like this unfortunately. At least Emma's presence might have brought Perks to a few more peoples' attention even without a decent interview. All press is good press as they say...

sparkvark111 said...

They are just expanding 'Perks' to 197 theaters in the U.S. and 27 in Canada for October 5th. They updated the official website. Some people may have to wait a little longer. :( At least it is playing in my city though. :D

Link http://perks-of-being-a-wallflower.com/theaters.html

Wide release in the UK October 3rd.

@Ana

CutiePie32 admitted months ago on a different post that he's Lou, a guy who has talked on this site several times about the sexual acts he's wanted to do to Emma and have her do to him, listed where she lives several times, and has even called people racial slurs on this site...forgive me but I can't give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially since I use to work for a celebrity sports star, I've seen his type.

Issa said...

@Chris, what twitter account is this?

Eden said...

Could no one gives CutiePie's twitter account, please? If CutiePie wants to give it, free to him/her, but I rather like him/her to decide. Thank you :)

Chris said...

Don't worry Eden, I won't give it out because private information like that should never be outed by other people, whether it's simply a twitter account or the address of where someone lives. I respect his rights to not do that to him...even though he's done it to me.

CutiePie32 said...

Well i truley apprecciate that, and i do apolgize for all those racial slurs and sex comments.i was just having fun on the chat box. But,sadly,i ruined everything.Trust me on this,if anything happened to Emma,i would cry the same way the world cried when John Lennon was shot.Thats how i feel about Emma.i don't know her,but i really like her.She makes me want to do better in life.BTW,i work w/ a girl who looks just like Emma so i am SO happy for that.

Issa said...

Oh no! Sorry about that!

CutiePie32 said...

it so strange though.i get to NY,and Emma may as well be in London because finding her in NYC is like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles.i admit my actions of going to NYC are pothetic but i'm just following my heart.Forgive me.i suck at life.

SILUHA said...

i feel sick.

me too

Anonymous said...

Cutie pie slow down. We all like emma, but we don't let it all hang out.

CutiePie32 said...

So am i the only one who thought "Perks" was not so great?Seemed like a 2 hr episode of 90210.Not impressed at all.

Anna said...

I haven't seen it yet, Cutie. So I can't comment. I am reading the book this week. I like the book a lot.

Anonymous said...

<that is not true, check your research, 95% OF THE WORLD does not curse publically. Yes, in the private zone of your home and maybe even with a certain type of friend group but not with public media. I need for such behavior is basically a regression or lack of ideas.
And it has been announced in the area of psychology that age for young adult has risen in age.

Anonymous said...

I didn't like Emma's cursing on the Ross show either, but he deserved it. The stupid, childish questions he continues to ask...going from a child star to an adult star...blah blah blah, then Emma's line. I think she was obviously ticked at Ross. He kept going back on the HP stuff and hardly talked about Perks of being a Wallflower at all- I thin one comment coupled with a question. I was ticked about that- why does he want to keep her as that HP girl- then her answer.
I think Emma has far more class than that, but Ross was annoying. <david letterman did a better interview about her newest projects and took her serious as a developing young actress. <ross cried for heromine.

coslopus said...

It says Emma is going to be on The Ellen Degeneres Show on October 16. She is going to receive an award in Hollywood on October 15th, so she must be doing Ellen as sort of a cross promotion (Perks and the award).

IS THIS REAL LIFE? OR IS THIS JUST FANTASY?

sparkvark111 said...

They are supposed to go wider with the Perks release in the U.S. on October 12 after they pushed it back. The movie needs more push with the drawn out release schedule.

Chris said...

They've doubled it from 102 to I think 219 for this week. I agree with you though, there is plenty of demand, they're just not supplying it.

Anna said...

Eden, did your computer break down? Or is news slow at the moment?
Please don't store all new pictures for one message - it's so overwhelming when that is happening. I'd rather have one new picture a day...

Eden said...

Really sorry. My computer's fine, it's just me who isn't in a very good mood and health right now :(

Anonymous said...

Hope you're feeling better and get well soon, Eden! :D Take care!

CutiePie32 said...

Feel better Eden.Sucks, for your computer, now you.On another note,i may be going to NYC again tommorow to eat pizza, drink goffe, and of course, stalk Emma.Hey,don't hate the player, hate the game.

CutiePie32 said...

i really need to proof read my stuff.sry.

Anna said...

Oh, Eden. I am sorry for you. Get well soon. Take your time.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower opened at 4th this weekend with £827,983 in UK.

Anonymous said...

Perks goes nationwide in US this weekend so I'd imagine Emma going on Ellen is for promotion, though it's convenient she'll already be in LA to receive the award. For the amount of screens its on Perks is doing extremely well, it's a big hit both commercially and critically, brilliant for Emma.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone think it will be nominated for any major awards? The reviews are fantastic, it has a rating of 85% on RT with over 90 positive reviews.

Anonymous said...

i don't think so, maybe mtv award but that's the top it can get

CutiePie32 said...

Let's speak the truth.Perks is NOT oscar material.

Anonymous said...

I believe Perks will surprise us. the author and director translated the tale very well, and it has got raging reviews. I think the actors could get 0scar nominations. This is a relevant story, which realistically speaks about the problems youth face today, without making it high schooly cute. These kids are realistic and charming- but they have problems, which are well presented in the story. The story presents wisely what too often children, teachers, administration and last but not least parents have to struggle with in trying to get or keep their children on a healthy path.

Anonymous said...

this is a teen movie, no oscar material

get well soon eden...love you

Perks will most likely not be nominated for an Oscar, but I can see a Golden Globe or lesser award at least. It is a good movie though.

BTW...Perks will open at 725 theaters in the U.S. Friday, October 12, 2012. So, those that have not seen it, check online or locally to see if it is playing near you. :)

Anna said...

@CutiePie, It's not so hard to get this information, I googled it. But maybe you should know when Emma is going to be there?

CutiePie32 said...

Question, does anyone know if Sophie Sumner lives w/ Emma in NY?...Sophie moved to NY on OCT 1st and i was just wondering if they live together since i think they live together in London too. Thanks in advance.
