The Bling Ring with Emma Watson to be released in January?

First, a French cinema saying the French release will be the 9th, now VideoDetective says the "theatrical wide release" will be the 12th.

Could be more than rumours then, don't you think?

EDIT: Ok, I'm lost. January 2013? December 2013? We can only wait for some official infos.

Maybe when they said the spring, they meant The Bling Ring was going to come out in the spring for the US. Maybe France is going to get an early release. That happens on occasion.

It would be nice to have it coming out soon in January, that way we can get some early reviews on how Emma did in it.

In America, 97% of all films are released on Friday (the other 3% are released on certain holidays regardless of the day), in order to capitalize on hype and weekend rushes, according to VideoDetective this film would be released on a Saturday.

@Chris you made a very good point. i personally think it's rumours. We haven't seen no trailor even yet

no trailer, no promo pics, we dont know the US distributor yet and they are going for wide release
somebody only spread the rumour of fake release date

According to the Video Detective site, which is an american site, the date is 12/1/2013, which is the USA, means December 1, 2013, not january 12, 2013.

This also makes much more logical sense than the january dates.

I went into the page for Dan Radcliffe's next film Kill Your Darlings and they've got the same release date. Perhaps it's a mistake or some kind of default setting.

Looks like a default setting ^.

I had assumed this would be a spring release, possibly Cannes? (probably not in competition though)

Emma's Facebook has been quiet for a while... No update since October 29th.

@Anna: But her twitter's been more active than Ever! I love how Emma's tweets are now so random, you never know what's coming next.

You can tell she's been spending a lit of time in America. I'm sure "booyah" and "true dat" are not old English.

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Ie.
I'm not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I'd
post to let you know. The design look great
though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Kudos
