Dobby actress talks about Emma Watson

Diane Gibbins played Dobby in the last two 'Harry Potter' films. She has lots of nice things to say about the other actors, but not much about Emma. Woops.

"When I first started, Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger, was really nice.
"But after about a week she wouldn't say 'hi' and just ignored us – that's not right, just because she's the leading lady doesn't give her the right to be rude to people."

Just because Emma may be less outgoing and social, it does not make her rude. She has said a few times that she is introverted.

She soesn't say "hi" = She is rude??? Maybe this woman didn't say hi to her, what a load of bulls***

Lolz there are so many encounters of Emma where she's rude, but you people have excuses every time. Even the ones with journalists you guys don't believe

What's your problem? We're all "rude" sometimes. And don't say "hi" doesn't mean we're rude. Not at all. Have you ever met her to tell that she's rude? I don't think so. Your opinion is purely negative, that's all.

My feeling is this....why come out 6 yrs later after filming has ended and say just that? Weird comment if you ask me. Agree, many people at my work don't say hi to just say hi-that doesn't make them rude, even the people I don't particularly get along with.

I dunno. In my culture it's considered rude if you don't greet people at work. Depends on where you live I suppose.

I like Emma but I have to say that I have heard several comments in the past about her rudeness and snobbery. Most of it I have taken with a pinch of salt though as jealousy can cause people to say such things - rather like those who keep spouting that she's a bad actress.
However most of us if caught at the wrong time or in a hurry can be rude and if one is famous it must be hard trying to lead a fairly normal life and we are ALL entitled to that whether rich or poor, famous or unknown.

Exactly, we've all been rude sometimes, intentionally or not.

Also, as I mentioned before, Emma said she is introverted, it means that she needs time alone and hates small talk, and that's why many introverts can be misinterpreted.

From what I understand of the interview, the day she met this woman, Emma was "really nice", after that she probably just kept herself reserved, that's not being rude in my book. Not everyone is outgoing, talkative and likes to keep around people all the time. I got the impression that Emma does not feel comfortable around people she does not really know well and can trust, unless it's children.

The thing is: Emma's got so little controversy about her, the gossipy, drama-loving, celeb-obsessed world will grasp at any morsel. Her "snobbishness" is just a projection of her public image. If she were a black actress from harlem, they'd undoubtedly have a whole different set of controversial adjectives for her, regardless if her personality was actually any different at all.

Don't be a sheep, think for yourself.

Well, she was a kid when those comments happened. She's older now and has matured.
