The picture on the left is new.

To the person(s) who will complain that it's from Harry Potter and I should move on: a new picture is a new picture. I'm not going to ignore it just because it's old or because you don't like it.

Eden, you shouldn't give the anonymous haters that much attention. They're not here looking for current Emma pictures content. They're here looking to tear down our regard for her, and one good place to start is trying to keep us from acknowledging her past accomplishments.

They can suck it.

On the other hand, if I may be so bold as to suggest, would you object to formatting your links to open in a new tab/window (The HTML code is "target=_blank" inside the "a href" tag)?

I would find that much preferable.

Wow Jonathan read my mind, for both of his comments :)

I love those HP pics, she used to be so cute, and yeah opening in a new tab would be great!

A tab for HP memory lane would be great, especially with the new film and play. That would be a cool update.

Just because one gives a criticism, does not mean one is an Emma hater. I have enjoyed all of her films and am hoping to see more. I am waiting for Queen of Tearling the most. My point is though, if your regard for Emma hinges on other people's criticism, it is not true fan. There is nothing wrong in saying Emma could use a bit of RADA; I have read that opinion more often. She is a good actress sometimes, but she needs to sharpen her skills. Saying this is not badmouthing her, it is meaning well and being a true fan.

I agree with the anon above and furthermore I have never criticised Eden for showing HP pictures. If we are to be branded Emma haters simply because we are worried about how her career is progressing then I have nothing more to say.

Oh God, She doesn't need RADA or theater, she needs to work in more movies with main roles, I'm so excited for Colonia and i don't know why some "fans" overlook every aspect of Emma Watson, I mean it's really good that fans care about her but i hate when they pretend to know more about her work than her, they sound as if she is the worst actress in the world when is not like that, she is not the best but she's definitely not a bad one, please just enjoy Emma and not be desperate for her to win an Oscar. WatsonUpdates keep the good work :)

You said it, she is not the best. We all need to sharpen our skills in our profession. Sometimes practice makes perfect, but intellectually one has to understand what is amiss and a have a method to improve. I say this as a fan of EW.

she's not the best, but she's not the worst as many people seem to think, is just jelousy because she is getting big parts in great movies and has a lot of the media focusing on her, is not her fault that people and media care so much about her and not about some of the other actors from Harry Potter. Yeah, i said it.

Emma is the only HP actor that interested me right from the beginning. Rupert is the best actor of the trio and he is slower in the coming, but at the end he will be the one to last. No he does not have the best media presence at first look, but he is a very handsome man if he would suit up more and dress more like an adult. No matter though. Emma is a very good actress in some instances but has great media presence. The question is though, how long will it last if she does not improve. I do not think Emma would opt for a mediocre career. For that she is too intelligent and has promise in many other areas. Emma if not acting is writing, directing, producing, for which she is alsready planning in Tearling. She is widening her doors. Maybe she does not want acting in the long haul. Actually I cannot imagine that that is something she wants to do in her mid 30#s.

For me Grint is a mediocre actor, the worst of the Trio. But if you like him so much, then go to his websites or blogs, instead of thinking about Emma and pretending you're worrying for her. It's so simple.

Problem Sim0na? I like Rupert also and am also looking forward to his work. He is a good actor. Why is it not possible to like the trio and maybe even mention them on each other's website? One does not negate the other-but nothing is simple. I love Emma, Rupert, Dan and Matthew: i think they are all blossoming. Is that bad to mention that here?

I would appreciate if people could avoid telling others whether they can or can't come to my blog or leave a comment. As long as everybody is being respectful, I see no problem with negative criticism.

Jonathan, I'll try the code. Thanks :)

Anon, I'd love to do a HP memory tab, but that would take a lot of time and I'm already very busy on the blog (even when it doesn't seem like it :p). If I find time, I will.

Thank-you Eden for saying this. Criticism is not necessarily bad. I come from Germany and the Germans tend to look at people and events very critically. Being critical does not mean of Emma, does not mean that one does not appreciate her talent, one is just voicing that according to personal opinion there is room for improvement. Emma is a smart young woman, I am sure she sees that for herself and is doing something about heightening her potential,

Just another thought, I saw that Matt Lewis is going to be in the film the Brontes. Would it not be great if Emma could play one of the Bronte sisters.
