Nice! I love Carrie. They should do something together.

What happened for the seriousness of HeforShe? Sometimes I think she is already bored with the superficiality of her own approach, but the bookshelf- oh well. I hope she gets some decent film offers soon, for her year off is getting ridiculous. I am just going by the information she offers about herself.

I am not sure what it is you expect Anon she does things like we all do when we have something to contribute it is not easy she can't just make a throwaway comment without massive attention and judgment.

We would all like her to be involved with things we do and she does her part but she has to have a life like everyone else.

Imagine what it must be like 1000's of people say the love and follow you and lots saying they hate you. None of them actually know or in some cases even want to know you are just a person not some image people have made (I am not addressing you directly here Anon I do not sense you are like that) to suit some personal need.

I suspect she has good days and bad days wondering what she has taken on and why she did it but in the end she will stand by what she said if at all possible. Is that not what we all do.

She may well fail in some or all of these things it happens I hope in my small way to help her and us avoid that.

I never said I hate her, in fact I follow her career, and I believe she has developed well out of the character Heromine. I just do not see a real stand for anything that is relevent. Sure gender equality is important, but her perspective is more that men get more money than women in the film industry. I find this focus shallow. Embarrassing coming from someone so intelligent. Sorry, but I cringed.

I did say my comments where not directed at you specifically or any one just an observation. She is raising the issue of equality in all areas actuality if you check her Twitter and Facebook, She focused on her industry as I do on mine what else can she do cant solved the problem on her own she is just one woman after all. She is aware of her influence and tries to avoid using it unduly.

Check out the women working in factories in the UK-close to home. Women are suffering.

Yes we; Emma, HeforShe feminists everywhere and you I suppose are working. It is a task but if Emma can turn any of the 1% that can only be good can it not.
