At last a date will mean summer release in the UK I suppose. Why the delay, clash wih "Inferno", slipstream B&B who knows distributors seem even more a law unto themselves than they were in the past. Simple to think these are just business decisions...

Just a month after Beauty? I dunno if I like that.

April is too late to be considered for the awards season. Damn!

I heard some not so great things about the movie. Sounds like another dud.

I have not heard anything definitive but Variety thought it showed promise.

The book is good but a depiction of infantile social media. I could not stop laughing at the people in the story. To say the least, the movie should be fun- nothing down deep.

I have read this comment about Emma in youtube

I used to be a big fan of Emma Watson. I had a crush on her. We are around the same age, and I grow up and watched her grow up with the Harry Potter movies. She always sounded so smart, humble and kind-hearted. And when she become part of this HeforShe activism, I tried not judge her: I mean, we are all for women rights, aren't we? But I thought she was gonna address the situation of women in second and third world countries. Instead, she talks about our society. I tried to listen to her videos, to understand what points she wants to make, but she's always so vague about it. She doesn't bring up statistics to back up what she claims. In the end, it's all the same feminism bullshit I heard over and over again: ''we need feminism cause we are not taken seriously, and we are insecure about it''. Why, Emma, just why. There are so many injustices you could be fighting against. Why did you involve yourself in this.
Some are agree?

I disagree that she provides no evidence but be that as it may she is doing work in her circle to change minds, mainly but not wholly focused on the west.

Why because that is where the power is unfortunately perhaps but a fact.

As a feminist myself I can't support your assessment. There are literally tens of thousands of us glad Emma chose to get involved as she has.

She writes and orates well, but you are right, there are no stats to support her arguements. She sounds good, and everyone thinks yeah, yeah, yeah anything else- or rather anything new? I want to see her in some more flicks. Her imdb is as dry as a bone.

Anon please refer to the next entry to see more of what Emma and HeforShe women and men are doing. None of which would have happened if Emma had not become a Feminist.

i DO NOT GIVE A HOOT ABOUT HER FEMINIST PROGRAM; i AM ONLY INTERESTED IN HER NEXT FILM: i HAVE OTHER SOLID SOCIAL MODELS THAT i FIND MORE VIABLE:
