I hope to see her marching. Today's event has been, make no mistake, a tragic catastrophe for women's rights, and that's a battle Emma has been proudly and admirably in the forfront of fighting.

Disney will not be happy.
If it is highlighted she is marching, she'll be positioned (by alt-right)as anti-Trump, therefore boycott B&B calls will almost certainly be made.

The Boycotts by the Alt-right don't work, also they already know she's a feminist, so seeing her marching makes any diference. Disney has nothing to worry about, I mean, who the f*ck is going to boycott Beauty and the Beast?? hahaha how they're gonna do that, by not buying tickets they would never buy since the star of the movie is a feminist?

by protesting a the premiere? nobody would take that seriously.

Also, I'm sure the alt-right already knows she's anti - Trump, it's a little bit silly to think she isn't, it's not like they are gonna be so shocked because she doesn't like Trump. Lady Gaga, Kay Perry, Cher, Miley Cyrus, Matt Damon, Robert de Niro have spoken a lot about their dislike for him and as far as I Know they are doing great.

We gave her everything she has. We have the right to vote with our wallets. I for one am pirating Beauty and the Beast.

I will be marching in London Emma marching in Washington, feminist marching in 620 cities, 60+ countries for equal rights. Emma will have increased the number attending with her work and commitment. There are 7 of us from goodread meeting for the first time.

Team Watson marching proudly for Equality, for everyone.

I must be lucky as I have always had equality and the freedom to express my views but I don't consider myself a feminist. This march will be a non-event and I notice all the other famous people you mention are top of their professions and busy; which with the best will in the world Emma is not. Personally I think this action is rather foolish and it certainly won't gain her any work. In fact it could prove detrimental. I like Emma but I really do think she is making a mistake getting involved with this.

You are right, you are lucky. Most women still do not have equal rights....we have made some in roads since the 70's that can be reversed... the numbers marching around the world are a vision for people to see. To know that we are there and demand it.We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families - recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.

Risking what you have for what you believe is noble and inspiring many famous and not so famous did it today.

But you continue to prevaricate Vicky and we will keep matching and we shall see.

For the record Emma is in the states working took time out to march just like the rest of us.

The one with the pink scarf is Emma's mum?

I always wanted to have a look at Emma's mum :-))

@first Anon: I'd wonder if Emma gave a damn what alt-right say.

Okay my final word on all these marches. We have FMG, forced marriages, honour killings, the stoning of women and any of these I would have supported 100% but to march because you don't like Donald Trump and you lost is pathetic. On both sides of the pond sore losers seem to be the name of the game. I shall not be supporting Emma any longer and will withdraw from this forum - fortunately I never did like Madonna but I wouldn't have put Emma in the same class until now. So adieu to you all and I still think Emma is a fool.

You may think Emma a fool but I know you to be one Vicky. The atrocities you list exist precisely because men like Trump went unchallenged. He would remove the protection of rights that prevent them happening in great numbers in the developed world. Will he succeed unlikely, but not impossible.

Bye bye Vicky
