Apart from the language, I'm sorry to say, Lucy still comes across like Hermione. But its a small role and clip so difficult to judge her acting chops, I'll wait for Perks... :)
I think she's doing great outside of Hermione. I don't blame people for saying she comes across like Hermione, I mean, it's only been a couple months since HP came out. People are probably going to say that for another year. I think she's great in this scene, IMHO. Yeah, her eyebrows are a little annoying, but you have to admit that her eyebrow "situation" has gotten better over the past 2 years. She doesn't move them that much like she used to.
Movie review update: The movie has an 85% "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It's certified fresh and they say it's an amazing movie. One review said the movie falls a little flat despite Michelle Williams's great performance, but "strong supporting turns from Judy Dench and a post-Harry Potter Emma Watson make it worth a look." She's getting good reviews in the movie, so her acting can't be that off.
I didn't really notice the eyebrow thing, I think it's much better.. I can remember spending two hours of being annoyed by her eyebrows while watching Ballet shoes. Apart from the terrible wig I quite liked it.
I think her performance is quite good given the fact that this is the first big movie she's playing in since a role she had for ten years and with which she learnt how to act,
I don't think she act like Hermione. At all. And I didn't notice her eyebrows too. I think she seem different. And she seem to have a great talent. I can't wait to see her develop that!
I dont know I think she'll always BE Hermione, she needs a real role. I hope Perks works out for her because she's actually a lead. If it doesn't she risks being Hermione forever
Such a cute scene. I didn't see Hermione anywhere...don't remember Hermione ever talking like that + didn't notice eyebrows. She was good in that short clip.

She's moving too much with her eyebrows again. It's a really annoying habit of her. :C
