More informations about Emma Watson going to Worcester College in Oxford in the fall

Emma Watson has confirmed that she will spend the next year academic year at Oxford. She will return to Brown to finish her degree.

The 21 year old has accepted an offer from Worcester College, which she will use to gain credits towards her English Literature degree at the Ivy League institution. Brown requires students to complete just four semesters in residence, leaving Watson free to study some of her required 30 courses here.

In response to speculation that she had abandoned her Brown course, Watson gave an interview to ‘The Virginia Pilot,’ stating, “I’m still a student at Brown. It’s just that I’ll spend my third year abroad – at Oxford. Then I’ll return to complete my last year.” This is a relatively common practice for American students, with Worcester alone accepting 15 visiting students each academic year.

The actress will have full access to University resources, including the Bodleian libraries, but it is unclear if she will attend lectures.

A Worcester official refused to comment on the nature of her course. An inside source stated that her fame had not been considered when she was offered a place, and it had been solely a matter of previous academic achievement.

Watson will be a full member of Worcester JCR and has been assigned College Parents.

[2001] An old new very cute video of Emma Watson talking about the plot of Harry Potter, fame and friendship

Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint also talk about the plot of Harry Potter and fame.

Emma Watson did NOT have a meltdown after Harry Potter end

Lots of websites are talking about this rumour made up by Star magazine but it's a FALSE rumour. Emma's rep denied it to Gossip Cop.

Emma Watson is caught in a downward spiral of partying because she’s so distraught over the end of the Harry Potter franchise,” reports Star magazine.

The mag says Watson was celebrating after the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows: Part 2 on July 7, and quotes a supposed “insider” as saying, “Emma was out of control. She was dancing rowdily one minute and then sobbing on a crew member’s shoulder the next.

The so-called “source” explains, “The end of Harry Potter is having an effect on her. She always knew she would have to face this one day, which is why she enrolled at Brown University,” adding, “Unfortunately, the prospect of getting a college education isn’t helping her anxiety.”

The tabloid also says Watsonmade a big scene when she appeared on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman‘ on July 11.”

It made for really uncomfortable viewing,” says the alleged “insider,” noting, “All [Letterman] did was ask her if she ever drank, and she laughed like a hyena and then admitted that one time she had gotten drunk.

The source adds, “Everyone’s worried she’s having a meltdown” because she fears “no one will cast her in another role.”

Hold up.

Watson has already been cast in another role – she’s starring in The Perks of Being a Wallflower - which Star would know had it paid attention.

And in no way did she “make a scene” on Letterman. She was charming and humble, and said she wasn’t much of a party animal and had only been drunk once.

Also, Watson enrolled at Brown because she wanted an education and “loves studying pretty much more than anything,” as she’s said in the past.

Everything in the story is entirely made up and FALSE.

Watson’s rep confirms to Gossip Cop, ”This is a ridiculous story and in no way true.

Once again, it’s Star that’s “having a meltdown.”

Exclusive interview of Emma Watson with French Closer magazine?

I don't know if Closer magazine is a reliable magazine, but there's an excerpt:
"When one asks me if it's difficult not to be big-headed, I often want to say: ' everything depends on the way one behaves with you '. The only moment when I was not down-to-earth anymore is when I had a figurine in my effigy between my hands. I really thought I was dreaming!"

"Lorsqu'on me demande s'il est difficile de ne pas avoir la grosses tête, j'ai souvent envie de dire : 'Tout dépend de la manière dont on se comporte avec vous'. Le seul moment où je n'ai plus eu les deux pieds sur terre, c'est lorsque je me suis retrouvée avec une figurine à mon effigie entre les mains. J'ai vraiment cru rêver !"

Emma Watson might want to create her own fashion line

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has proved a hit in front of the camera by modelling for Burberry, but now she wants to show off her skills as a fashion designer.

The 21-year-old, who also plans to continue her studies at Oxford after cutting short her time at Brown University in America, has been taking fabric-cutting, design and sewing classes, I'm told.

'Emma wants to challenge herself creatively.

'She's obsessed with art at the moment,' says a mole.

'She's already designed a line of T-shirts and wants to expand her skills to create bespoke eveningwear.

'She looks up to designers such as Georgina Chapman and Sarah Burton.

'She has also been studying the work of Joan Miro to inspire her.'

Emma Watson contributes to 'Naked Fashion'

First of all, no, Emma won't pose naked (I precise, just in case).

The book 'Naked Fashion' offers advice and tips on how to make a difference for those who have an active interest in where our clothes come from or want a career in fashion and the media. Fashion designers and creatives from many fields, including photographers, illustrators and film makers, talk about what they are doing differently to change the fashion and media industry from within. With features on up-cycling, how to change the high street and an ethical brand directory, the book supplies inspiration for how to achieve style with substance.

'I still find it hard to convey how much Fair Trade means to those producing our fashion – it’s just so impressive to see how the women have used Fair Trade to escape poverty and empower themselves and their children.' Emma Watson

This is one of few books to analyse fair trade, ethical fashion and entrepreneurship, written by one of the most respected women in the industry. It’s a highly visual publication, featuring studio shots, street pics and illustrations. Many of the contributions come from celebrity supporters of fair trade and ethical fashion and the book is supported by a number of internationally recognized designers, photographers and bloggers.

'The whole idea of machinery is that people have more time for leisure and culture, and yet that isn’t at all what’s happened. The opposite has happened – the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.' Vivienne Westwood

The book will be available 1 September 2011

Some excepts inside the book:
"As the actor Emma Watson explains, Fair Trade fashion brings genuine and measurable results to some of the world's most vulnerable communities."

Chapter 5: Designing a new industry
Emma Watson, actor and People Tree collaborator, visits Bangladesh.
