Emma Watson in London [June 21, 2016]

She recently received a parking ticket as she returned to her blue Audi after a trip to the shops.
But a passer-by ensured Emma Watson, 26, wasn't left too disheartened when he cheekily pinched the notice off her car and refused to hand it over, prompting the star to smile.
The Harry Potter actress was dressed down for the London outing in a striped longsleeve top and washed out New York Yankees cap.

She completed the look with some three-quarter-length leggings, flip flops and a pair of large black shades.

Emma clutched a brown paper bag as she made her way to her vehicle, and as she opened the door she conversed with a man clutching a can of lager in one hand and waving her ticket around in the other.
Looking relaxed, she appeared to ask the man to hand it over as he playfully held it outstretched.

Eventually he decided to hand it over and received a smile and a kiss on the cheek for his troubles by a happy Emma.
The encounter looked to have brightened up her day as she initially remained straight-faced as she sauntered along the street.
Earlier in the day, a parking warden could be seen taking pictures of her car before placing the notice underneath the windscreen wiper.

Emma's brown bag has the name Cowshed on it, which sells "natural bath and body products containing only the very best organic, wildcrafted and fairly-traded plant extracts and essential oils."

Who is the man? I do not understand the article

@anon: its a regular man who 'playfully' took her parking ticket. no idea if emma felt creeped out or if he was cool.

@anon you clearly aren't a woman. but please imagine how would you feel if this happened to you? As a woman you deal with this shit all the time and it's even worse when it's by old creepy men. They think they are allowed to be creepy because they just grandpas and what not. It drives me insane...

As for her reaction, that's exactly how you deal with this bullshit, you just try and get it over as quickly and run without making a scene. Especially if you're celebrity and people are taking pictures of you all the time.

Yawn another staged photo op - paps just happened to know where Emma was going? Glad she doesn't indulge with this nonsense that often!

On set with Morgan Freeman?

How does this old man know what car Emma is driving ?

Emma looks good and the Situation is pretty funny. But to be honest. If I were in London and a Towndrunk like this person fetches the ticket form my car. I will go strait into my car drive home and wating for a reminder from the authorities.

Maybe he doesnt even know who Emma is

She seems to remain kind, but I do think it is staged, for if someone strange approached you that close, you would tend to back off (normal behavior), but she seems to be actually leaning in.

Oh, now, dammit, that challenges my love for her -- She's wearing a Yankees cap!

Jonathan, please explain i didn't get it.

I think it could be her new project to support this minority!

Anon -- well, I'm kidding, of course, but I live in the Boston area. Emma's cap bears the logo of the New York Yankees baseball team. There is no greater, more bitter sports rivalry on earth than that between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. (In "Ocean's Twelve," one of the great gags is a staged fistfight on a bus between George Clooney and Matt Damon that starts with them noticing one anothers' baseball caps, Sox vs Yankees.) So I'm riffing on that.

Dear Jonathan,
Ha,Ha - thanks a lot for the quick answer!

My pleasure!

Is this really paparazzi? The images are so tiny! Like they were taken with a flip phone.

Ha ha ha! Such a creepy article yet humorous! On DM could come up with that crap. Love her Yankees cap. She would definitely have seen their matches many times over in the States.

I thank that is Morgan Freeman.

Did you notice the wire coming up from his sweater, like there might be a microphone. Was this a Reality Show starring Emma Watson.

No people don't actually do stuff like that in real life as there is no point. Emma is just nice and the guy was just a guy. Human interaction we are just people in the end.

@ Jonathan Andrew Sheen "There is no greater, more bitter sports rivalry on earth than that between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees"

you do know that the earth is a bit bigger than the american east coast? there are far worse rivalries in south america and europe. often with dead people.

Jonathan Andrew Sheen said...

They may be more violent, Anon, but they're not greater, nor more bitter. THey're just drab, sordid little petty hatreds, lacking the operatic grandeur of the glorious Red Sox versus the vile, evil Yankees.

Ross Taggart said...

You tell them Jonathan. They want to think we are the same person I regard it as an Honor :)

Red Sox or Yankee tangent- this is staged, or her reaction would be more normal when a big man like that approaches you.

Ross Taggart said...

Seriously people do not stage things like this why would they, your view is very dark Anon you need to give humanity the benefit of the doubt. What would Emma have to gain from this. what would anyone.

She reacted to what the man did and said most people's motives are kind. He was a nice guy doing nice thing it happens every day.
