The Perks of being a Wallflower is going to be filmed in Pittsburgh (duh!) with Emma watson playing Sam. Excited?! Hell yes!

A twitter post by some random excited girl isn't really official confirmation...
I mean if the author was going to talk about the casting in some visit to a random university nobody has ever heard of, the news would have already been out in press releases and such
He was lecturing at Slippery Rock University last night so I really think it's true.
Yeah... but seriously do you think it makes sense for the author/director to confirm, for the first time, the casting of possibly the biggest teen star around at some random university?
Emma hasn't said anything. The production company hasn't said anything... absolutely no way he would have broken the news there.
We already know she was in talk so I don't think it's a big deal for him to reveal it there, but you make me doubt more and more, stop it! XD We'll see, I'll apologize if I finally gave false hope to anyone ^_^
Maybe it's me but the fact that she posted a fairly negative comment on her website about how its one of many projects she's looking at etc etc convinced me that Emma isn't going to be in it.
In fact I would be extremely surprised if she appears in any film including this one and the Marilyn one during her college years...
Nonetheless I think it is way too premature to call this an official confirmation by any reasonable standard.

The producer is giving the casting info to Baz. That's confirmation. Emma confirmed she was in talks and the director of Perks said she was not only in the movie. She is Sam. That's confirmation.
Is the Tweet from the same Girl?I don't read that the Author said it from himself.I mean many People believe many Rumors,many even still believe she was at the Casting for the Dragon Girl or Dragon Tattoo Girl.I read it a few Weeks ago in a Magazine,alltough it was told alread,the Rumors were wrong.
and I know many People doesn't look on her Homepage,they just believe what Sites are writing
