Emma has been mentioned (which means that there's nothing signed) for a supporting role in the upcoming romantic comedy "What to Expect When You're Expecting" The movie is filming from July 25 through September 29 in Alanta which would fit Emma's university schedule. The cast includes Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Jennfier Lopez, Ed Helms, Isla Fisher, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, and Chris Rock. Kirk Jones will be directing and the film is produced by WTE Productions, Phoenix Pictures, and Lionsgate. Release date is May 11, 2012. The story will be a modern look at love through the eyes of four interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby, and ultimately coming to understand the universal truth that no matter what you plan for, life doesn't always deliver what's expected.

Hmm.Why would/should Emma take supporting role after having leading roles in so much movies? At least she'll like the role she's going to take.Or her agents/team will press on her to take it because of smth.I'd rather wait for some real leading role, and concentrate on studying or smth else...All gossips, rumours.
XD
A romcom? Emma, don't do it. It's doomed to failure! At least 8/10 romcoms that have come out in the past couple of years have failed horribly. For someone who has the challenge of trying to prove to everyone that she is a proper actress, she shouldn't take a big risk like this.
If the rumor is true... At first, when I looked at the title, I thought it was going to be a serious drama about infertility, abortion and what would probably be Emma giving birth on screen...
I'd hate to see her in a romcom, but I'd love to see her in Atlanta, since that's where I live!
serge there is nothing wrong with supporting roles. there are many supporting roles which are better than the leading ones.
also it fits emma schedule in terms of shooting length and promotion if she takes supporting roles.
this movie doesnt sound too good imho.
Ils confondent peut être avec emma stone ou emma roberts, c'est déjà arrivé après tout, avec the help ou war horse, là certains blogs la confondaient avec emily watson.
I thought she once said that she didn't like romcoms nor wanted to play in one, allthough I could be wrong ofcourse.
It only says that Emma was mentioned. Not that she was choosen and not that she accepted the role if they did ask her.
I know Romantic comedies are normally very dull and bad movies, but as most producers says, these movies are easy to do and even with bad reviews, actors generally get known because of the amount of people who go see this kind of movies.
And if Emma wants to get some littles roles. she can do it. AS much as i don't like romantic comedies, Emma has the right to try styles and, as she said, the right to make bad choices sometimes. Perhap he scenario is interesting as much as the story can be deja-vu.
who are the producers for this movie? That may tell you something. anyone know?
a question for eden...
Could you tell me is it right Emma will be in LA at the BAfta Award?
Thanks....
Sam is not really a leading Role neither if you go for the whole Movie.Logan has the only leading Role from Perks
I would think that Emma could want some freetime/break now and before she starts Uni again
I think it would be cool to see her in a movie like this, after all a film is different from what she did, and romantic comedies are not always bad!
As Eden said, we'll just have to wait and see if any of this pans out.
Yes, not all the romantic comedies are bad. I LOVED 500 days of summer, but this is a jennifer lopez and cameron diaz movie, ugh. And their romantic comedies are almost always bad. And they are terrible actresses.
I live in Atlanta so that'd be AWESOME! But I don't feel this would be a good one for Em. But I'm behind her decisions.
there is the BTS video of harper's bazaar on pottershots:)
