Is it true that Emma is returning to Brown in January. What will she major in now? I know that she postponed for a while then went to Oxford to begin her Mst. at Oxford in English language and Literature, then eventually return to Oxford after her BA.
Is she really going to get her Mst. at oxford after brown in english language and lit. You'd think she'd go to RADA or Tisch to get an advanced degree in film.
Just wanted to add to my post, that I hate it when actors think they can just be actors without a proper education. Yeah, you can be a lousy actor, but good acting and directing also needs preparation. Or the line my acting classes were on the film set; I learned everything there- lazy way out. Good acting is a serious skill that needs a good education.
That is too bad! The best actors and actresses are those that have polished their craft with a good education which only ignites understanding for the character portrayed. I hope she doesn't stand still and vegetate in acting and glamour.
Is the licence in Literature the same as a BA. I don't think we have that degree in the USA, but I have heard of it in the Netherlands, and there it is a degree between your masters and Phd.
You can gain an education which will benefit your career as an actor without studying film.
A BA English Literature will focus heavily on language, characters and imaginary worlds. Sounds like an ideal degree for an actor to complete.
She grew up on a film set. I think it's great that she is not studying film and broadening her horizons with skill sets which can still inform her job.
Eden, do you know if Emma will be at the people choice award? There is a picture of her at JFK aiport which was taken five days ago, so I was wondering if she is going. Jennifer Lawrence and Emma stone are confirmed (as presenters, I think) but I didn't see Emma's name.

Gee, Elle Belgique, ya think? What gave you your first clue?
I suppose, rather than hassle them for being late to the party, we should celebrate that they're here at all...

I think she's just aiming for a Licence in Literature at Brown. I doubt she'll continue after that. And she did RADA (although it was only a summer).

^ she has not finished her bachelors yet. Clearly, she is no where near a masters, nor a PhD.
