Emerging as one of the top upstart distributors, A24 is gearing up for a major 2013. With plans to release Harmony Korine‘s Spring Breakers and the Elle Fanning-led Ginger & Rosa, they’ve already put out A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III, from director Roman Coppola, and have now revealed today they will distribute the next film from his sister, Sofia Coppola, this summer.
A24 has singled out a June release window for the film, likely following a Cannes debut.

“Sofia Coppola is an iconic American filmmaker and she has focused her distinctive style and uncanny ability to capture the zeitgeist in 'The Bling Ring'," A24 says. "We are thrilled to be working with her and look forward to bringing her undeniably fun and incredibly stylistic film to audiences nationwide.”
"I’m really excited to work with A24 as they begin their company with so much energy and creativity," Coppola adds. "I can’t wait for audiences to see our young cast and for people to see Emma Watson in a whole new way."

THIS IS THE END
Someone posted this spoiler a while ago in the comments, but I didn't think it was worth its own article. Highlight to read it.
"So without giving too much away she shows up to a big party James Franco is throwing in LA. So this where you see everyone having fun and it's a totally movie nerd fest. Mc lovin is hanging out with chicks, Michael cera is doing coke. Emma is hanging out. She appears later in the movie and she has a strong female role, cause she doesn't take no crap from the other male characters that the movie centers on. At the mere mention of rape, she takes some measures to assure nothing happens. Her appeal is played up in the movie. I fell you'll like it since your into her and in the movie she's aware people have it for her."
Thanks whoever sent it :)
Also, she doesn't die. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Guillermo Del Toro recently gave a tiny news about the movie.
We just got the first draft from Andrew Davies, who wrote some BBC Charles Dickens miniseries, to great effect, including two of my favorites of his – "Little Dorritt" and "Bleak House." I love his work. So we just got it. I'm doing a pass myself and then we'll send it to the studio for reactions.

the spoilers are in pink not white eden so you can rrad them without highlighting :s
The first rumor would be pretty cool because it means she isn't just a cameo but an actual supporting character. And with as many films as Del Toro has committed to, we can only hope that's for Beauty lol.
I'm happy Emma has a supporting role in the film. I hope it's a hit, I know I'll be seeing it. So far, the trailer has gotten a lot of positive feedback. I read a lot of comments on youtube, and it seemed like every single comment was positive.
I've been wondering, why Emma? Emma and Seth Rogan are on complete opposite sides of the spectrum. She's the last person I'd figure he'd cast in a movie.
Can you still read the spoilers without highlighting or was the comment before I changed? I don't remember.
I can still read the spoilers, they're a light pink colour to me.
Awesome updates eden thank you
Shoot. The background for me is pink/purple so I can't see them. Will try to find a solution.
And you're welcome :)
I hope it's good now, though it must look weird. I wonder what the blog looks like for some of you then. I thought everybody had the pink/purple background.
Yep that works! Thanks Eden :) You're so good to us ;)
I am looking forward to the Coppola film. An intelligent story as social critique. I can't wait to see Emma Watson, who is continuing to develop since HP, eventhough she was very good there- she sure could portray teen Angst.
I can't wait for "Beauty and the Beast". I want Evan Peters for The Beast. He's such a sweet bad guy. He makes you love the bad guy in American Horror Story. :)
I'm so excited for The Bling Ring and Beauty and the Beast, more she will start shooting next semester and so far has not disclosed the names of the actors ... weird.
Seth rogen and emma watson has chemical, hahahahahaha, I guess.
How about Johnny Depp. During the time he was filming Alice in Wonderland, I could of sworn I read Beauty and the Beast under projects that were in planning. imdb. But it is not listed now, oh well, but I do think he would make a great beast.
Am I the only one who thinks it would be pretty cool and a unique twist if it was Emma who played The Beast and have a man play Beauty? I think it would be so different it would be cool!
I actually thought about that. Would be nice, and not impossible coming from Del Toro.
The woman as the beast-what a twist. That reminds me of Oliver twist, when Beadle was told to have better control of his wife. In return he answered something like if you that it is that simple then "the law is a bachelor"- great line. I like that twist. Would she have to be dressed up in that hairy animal? Or is the beast the woman who is mean, and the beast finds her love spot.
