- Emma is officially going to the People's Choice Awards tonight.
- She's studying in NYU 'Film as Literature' until the end of January where she'll be back at Brown. Yep, it's not a definite transfer.
- New videos of LancĂ´me.
- New interviews. (She'd be interested in writing a screenplay apparently, which could be explain the course she take at NYU).
- Probably other stuff that I'll post properly later, promise.

Emma confirmed via her twitter that she'll be at People's Choice Awards
J-Term is pretty touch because you are cramming 3 months into 3 weeks. I'm sure she's studying during the flight to and from LA, but that's tough. But she has proven to be able to juggle work and school
Can someone answer me a Question??? I do wonder about this since a While now. What if Potterheads will win tonight, who is getting the Award? I doubt Emma will keep it. Or is there no Award for Fan Following at all and just a Speech? Someone knows? :/
First come first serve? When Potter when best cast ensamble at the MTV Movie Awards I always figured Emma just kept it.
but the MTV movie wards are just like boring popcorn thingies. i'm guessing in terms of "keeping" an award there is probably more emphasis on awards like golden globes / oscars / SAG / BAFTAs rather than these... tbh.
I swear I'm psychic because something told me to record the PCAs.
I hope they didn't just invite her just to have her face there. If it's a win, I wonder what it'll be for? Will it be a Perks win? A Potter win (best fan following)? Who knows? I'm just happy she's going!
Looking forward to seeing how she looks tonight and the interiews. i dont really care if hp or perks dont win. as fans its good to see her atthese awards etc.
I'm wondering if she is going at the show because she will win (I wonder if they know if they win or lose before the show).
Also, I saw that Robert Downey Jr is going at the show, I would love to see a picture of Iron man and Hermione together or with Jennifer Lawrence (they met at Tiff, I think but there weren't any pictures) or with Emma Stone again.
Where did you get that about NYU??
Emma won Best Dramatic Movie Actress for The Perks of Being a Wallflower at the People's Choice awards and was presented by Eddie Redmayne. ;)
Good way to get earn additional credits.
'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' won as well for Favorite Dramatic Movie.
How is she attending J-term at NYU if she is in Los Angeles attending the People's Choice Awards on a Wednesday? Unless her lecturers/professors are giving her leeway...
You can actually miss a day as long as you do the work, a day or two is fine, I'd imagine she studied on the plane. Give the girl some credit.
I know it's a crappy made up awards show, but it's nice to see Emma/Perks win! Plus, the non-Twilight noms/wins show there is some common sense in the world.
Anytime this girl does ANYTHING people jump on her with the old "why isn't she at university". It's so annoying. You can miss a few days here and there (and majority of people do miss a few days here and there). Lots of people do university part time while working part time or defer their course for a while for various reasons. It's just real life.
Congrats to her on her win.
I'm glad to hear that Emma is doing something with literature and film at NYU. I often wondered if she wasn't taking courses at Tisch NYU while she is living there. Well great for her, and for what her fans will be able to witness from her talent.
she missed one day, tops. she had a private flight from LA to NY (her hairstylist was tweeting/instagraming about it yesterday), so she probably took one back the same night so she wouldn't miss another day.
If Emma misses a day of Uni, that is her business. For those that have gone or are going to Uni, don't tell me you have never missed a day of maybe even an entire week. What is the big deal when Emma does it. I think it tremendous that she is even going to UNi with her million status. Remember she is at that age where young people are still searching for their place in the professional world. Great that she is an actress, and excellent that she is looking to branch out with her other talents such as writing. I can imagine her writing a script, and tailoring the main female lead to fit her. Emma thompson does and has been tremendously successful with this tactic.
The RADA text and performance is great, took the course. Emma would really benefit from course since she wants to act, write screenplays- which is realistic to her English degree, and do theatre. The Brit actors are the best theatre actors in the world, and an american is saying this.
This is great info about emma at nyu for film as literature. So she she is beginning to combine the two. I'm looking forward to the long-term results-
Is it true that Emma exchanged Brown U. vor NYU? NYU doesn't have the academic prestige as Brown. I could see her do it later but transfer? Somehow doesN't seem right.
The answer is in the article you're commenting on.
Where did you get the info about NYU?
I don't have the source, but short article said, supporting this info, that she was taking a January course at nyu. this info piece mentions a Film as Lit course. Most likely Brown would not take the credit, but at least she is taking a course to help her in screenwriting, which she says she would like to do. A lot of stuff is in net, but I thought this was positive- who cares where you finish your degree!
Just saw the people choice award with emma. What kind of dress is she wearing. The way it hugs her boy, makes her body look short and wide like a wrestler. That dress didn't do her any favors. Eventhough I know she is a beautiful young woman.
Anon! Who is Emma's hair stylist? (you wrote: her hairstylist was tweeting/instagraming about it yesterday)
Emma, you certainly deserve kudos for finishing school, especially considering that probably not that many of your Harry Potter cast mates will go to school at all.
The guys haven't yet. Rupert is a rough diamond. He would do well to get some training. Daniel even more. I don't think he has as much natural talent but a lot of charm. But he said he doesn't need to go to college because he knows that he wants to be an actor. OK docs, you know you want to be a doctor, so just get at it, no training needed. (Ironic yes, but acting is a select craft, which also requires good training.
