Hi Team, ❤️ I want to start a feminist book club but so far have only brainstormed 'Feminist Book Club' and 'Emma Watson Book Club'.

Nonsense!A well-written is not dependent of feminist affiliation. This could bet obsessively unhealthy.
What Emma proposes is to start a book club especifically about feminist readings, to educate yourself in feminism and gender equality, not just any "well-written book" club or books of "feminist affiliation" (what the heck does that even mean??). I think it wouldn't do you any wrong to join, anon.
I hope this doesn't turn into a white feminist thing. She's disappointed me enough.
That's a wonderful name. A lot of people are saying what Emma is doing with feminism might be doing more harm than good, whether it's for feminism or herself. You know what I say? Awareness and change like this has to start somewhere and with someone, or it'll be put on the back burner. Emma is confident and strong enough to take a stand and join the battle for something just and right.
Change begins in the heart and quality of life. People need to feel safe and loved. What can I do in this dangerous world. I live in Germany, and personally involved in educating refugee children. These children are traumatized but grateful to be safe.Angela Merkel is a perfect example of the power of womanhood. She is a scientist, politician and a woman with heart that has already been acknowledged all over the world. I'm sorry, when I see these real problems I get disgusted with using your energy for such a thing. I think Emma is growing into a good actressand HEforShe is important but Emma Bookclub is not.
I am really pleased at what she's doing for all the heforshe and feminism but I just wished I understood the whole point of all this, she's not the only feminist around but acts like one. I very appreciative of all she does for all women and men. For equality. Way to go Emma!
True words? what it is the point of all this. I feel like she is in a bubble with this. Angela Merkel- I agree. She shows the power of the woman.
The comparison to Merkel is strange. How many people can be Chancellor of a country as economically, geographically, and politically important as Germany at the same time?
I think the point is feminism can have many faces and tasks. Merkel is clearly a feminist. How many people can be celebrity important? I think the buzz here is to use feminism in a positive way regardless of your position in life. I find Merkel admirable, a woman with true grit and is taking people with her to make this influx of refugees in Germany work. The young are also carrying their weight in kindness with refugee children.
Merkel, the power of women!
