Emma asked for barricade to be removed so she could greet marchers. She shook hands, interviewed a few people, and hugged a little Harry Potter fan with a Gryffindor hat.

I'm so happy she's there!

Absolutely riveting she is.

She is simply the best. There were signs with quotes from three of our goodreads book selection that personally saw during my walk. Which was a small part of the whole.

Emma is pretty!!! and eden, you know if emma gave a speech here?

Anonymous said...

she is only doing this because Beauty is coming but she looks great

I don't know why people still think that she was doing this for the sake of her upcoming movie. After all the things she'd been doing for gender equality

Don't worry Unknown, most people don't think like that.

I'm not quite sure what they are protesting. Women in America can drive a car, get an education, get a mortgage and purchase a home. They can be doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers. They can be ministers or atheists. They can have children without men. They can speak their minds.

I'm positive that they can still do these things now that Trump is president. This just looks like a giant hissy fit because their candidate lost. Being a sore loser is never a good thing

Trolls uninformed trolls so sad really.

Yeah, it's probably the other way around. She did the film to show a strong woman (although I don't really agree, but that's my issue, not hers) and being in the women's march just adds to her work as a UN ambassador and fighter for equality!

More "standing for equality" than protesting, for most.
We have rights, but we don't have EQUAL rights - many people are restricted in their options based on geography, upbringing, and more.

She is wonderful lets all deal with that

Just out of curiosity, is the lady in the red jacket the same one who was with Emma at her graduation pretending to be a student when she was in fact security?

Emma interacting with people on the march was great. Her honesty and warmth made a great day even better for so many people. And kudos for taking her mum with her to march bet it was not her mums first :)
