Why does her wand look so weird? Did she break it and wrap tape around it like Ron did?

Is that the Elder Wand? I think I saw a photo of Harry holding this wand, whichever one it is. In the book, didn't Hermione say she fell on her wand or Harry's wand while Nagini attacked him? Its been so long since I read DH, a long while, so I'm not sure...

Yes, Hermione broke Harry's wand when they escaped Nagini. Harry uses Hermione's wand then, until he gets another one (Draco's).

It's Bellatrix's wand, go back and read the book people!

I don't remember that.

Hermione broke Harry's wand. Harry ended up with Draco's wand, I believe.

Voldemort had the Elder Wand. Mrs. Weasley killed Bellatrix in a wand duel.

How did Hermione end up with Bellatrix's wand? I guess I should read the book again.

I don't remember that either but I don't want to reread the book before the movie, I don't want to be disappointed.

Remember, Guys! Harry got Bellatrix wand in the Malfoy Manor. They used it to enter Gringotts. Hermione, as Bellatrix, used it to identify herself as Bellatrix.
None of the people in Malfoy Manor had their own wand after Harry, Ron and Hermione's escape. Ron have his snatcher's wand, Harry Malfoy"s and Hermione got Bella's one. Bellatrix probably got another from the ones they had confiscated to the trio when they first caught them.

@Anon above

I remember that lot's of wands got shuffled around, but I had forgotten that they got Bellatrix's wand.

Still, I was under the impression that Hermione used her own wand during the final battle for Hogwarts.

Who knows .. maybe she used both.

The movies are not necessarily the same as the books anyway. That wand does look just like Bellatrix's.

I don't know which wand she's using after Gringotts, But I remember reading her ay she missed her own wand, talking about Bellatrix's wand, which wouldn't work well for her in gringotts because it's Harry who conquered the wand and not her.

Anyway, it must've been too complicated to explain that in the movie because Harry's snatcher wand work pretty well.

Hermione has her wand taken from her at the Manor, they escape with Bellatrixs wand and she uses it from then on, including to identify herself as Bellatrix in Gringots. She says how much she hates the wand, but she has it for the rest of the book pretty much, including the final battle where she's using Bellatrixs own wand against her when they fight (before Mrs Weasley jumps in).

To be honest, all this wand nonsense drives me nuts! JK Rowling went a little crazy with the wands changing hands and the explanations of why the Elder wand failed Voldemort.

There is a newer version of the picture with Harry and Voldemort locking wands. It was posted yesterday on Potter Shots. Hermione and Ron are next to Harry on the right. The HP7 Part 2 logo is in the middle. If you zoom in, you can see Hermione has a different wand. It is straight. It looks like her usual Dragon Heartstring core/ Vinewood wand. Who knows! I guess we will just have to wait for the movie.

I don't remember Harry pulling himself and Voldemort over the edge of the Castle in the book, either. There could be all kinds of scenes invented just for the movie.
