Former boy band member-turned-actor Justin Timberlake is set to star in the upcoming David Yates helmed YOUR VOICE IN MY HEAD.
The drama centers around a young self-destructive woman who must battle her inner demons as she traverses the road to a healthier mental state. The cast was already looking promising with “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson tapped to star as the film’s lead role appropriately named, Emma. Stanley Tucci, of recent “Hunger Games” fame, is in negotiations to play the leading role of Dr. Rosecan, a middle aged psychiatrist who takes Emma under his wings.
Timberlake will find himself in a supporting role as Jay, a handsome news reporter and Emma’s ex-boyfriend, who has difficulty grasping how he can help Emma with her mental state. The actor proved he was more than a pretty face on screen with strong supporting roles in 2007′s “Alpha Dog” and “Black Snake Moan”. Since then he’s turned in an equally strong role as Napster founder Sean Parker in David Fincher’s Facebook smash-hit “The Social Network”.
Between his work on the big screen, his joyful appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and his successful music career, Timberlake is proving himself to be a Hollywood renaissance man and his presence in “Your Voice In My Head” will be a welcomed with open arms.
The film is being produced by Alison Owen.
Timberlake is repped by CAA.

I have never seen Timberlake act so I don't know if this is a good or bad decision, but I'm sure both Emma and Justin are looking forward to working with each other.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this. Not exactly thrilled, but not upset either. He was good in The Social Network, it could work.
it sound fake to me.
Emma playing a character named Emma, and Justin timberlake playing Jay an ex boyfriend....
Well, there is million of different names in this world and she ll do a film with her name and her ex boyfriend name.... sorry.... probably true, but it sounds fake for me! just so improbable :)
XD I hadn't thought about that at all. Funny coincidence.
Justin was really cool in Social Network. I hope he will be better with our Dear Emma :)
This is definitely a wonderful casting! I'll look forward to it.
They really couldn't find someone else for the part? I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of Justin or his acting and this made me a bit dissapointed since I really was looking forward to this movie and it sounded promising. Not so sure what to expect with Justin in it.. But maybe he'll be great in his supporting role, who knows? Anyway, I would prefer someone else though!
U guys r just hating for no reason Justin is a great actor/ musician. And I personally can't wait for them to start filming such a great casting
There's no hate in saying they don't like his acting.
Off topic, but is Emma playing Alexis or a girl named Nikki. A ton of people commenting on various news sites are saying she's playing Nikki.
does anyone know when they're going to flim it?
Emma's character is named Nicki and is based on Alexis Neiers.
He was great in the Social Network and Alpha Dogg so I'm happy enough at his casting.
Are you 100 % sure this is true Eden? I mean I don't know this Website where it's coming from, but if you trust in it, you must know this it's a reliable Website
To me it was sure, but people make me doubt more and more.
oh my god, i am so excited for them to start filming.
Emma and Justin are well suited - their acting abilities fall in the same range.
NOOO!!! I hope it´s not true....they just don´t go together...he is like her older brother, it would be very weird....ewwww :((
David Yates is a excellent director and Justin did a great peformance in The Social Network. Besides, Emma and Stanley Tucci are in this film. We should give them a chance.
i think its not confirmed yet. but i've read that justin is a top contender for the role.
@Eden then maybe treat is still as a Rumour, if you have Doubts
well, I will give him a chance...I will need to see some photo of him and Emma from the movie or some clip/trailer to really make opinion...because sometimes I didn´t like some actor/actress and in movie they were good...so maybe he and Emma won´t be that bad, it depends whether Emma will look really young or not in the movie....
by the way, how old is that ex-boyfried in the book?
Alexandra !!!
I don't know why you hate the idea of him working with Emma!!!
it's not about look my dear , it's acting ...
and they actually suited eachother very well ,
He is a great actor and she is a wonderful actress .
Once again, no hate in her words. "sometimes I didn´t like some actor/actress and in movie they were good", see, nothing even mean.
yes, I don´t hate him, I don´t even dislike him...I don´t care about his looks either...for me is important how he will be with Emma...for me couple must have a good chemistry (and acting of course, but I think his acting is good) and it´s quite hard to imagine they will have good chemistry when everytime I imagine them together I see him and her older brother with no chemistry....but as I said, maybe I will be surprised and I will like them together.
I don't think Justin fits to Emma. But I don't believe this site either. IMDB has reported nothing of this sort. I refuse to watch another Justin T. movie. Bad Teacher was disgusting and ruinous for everyone.
YUCK!
Where is the source for this disgusting piece of information- please not Justin Timberlake. Even his music is dirty at times. His music has no depth.
The source is in the article.
Well if Timberlake is a film, my friends and I said that we won't be going to any of his or Diaz films after BAd Teacher. Such low crap!
emma should refuse!
Because a certain person is cast as a secondary role that will probably not be that important throughout the whole movie, Emma should refuse an amazing part that could open her tons of doors if she does great?!
You're right Eden. But Justin T. doesn't fit to Emma. I want to see good actors like Stanley Tucci working on this film. This is an important film, and it should be done well. I just finished reading the book YVimH- very good- but it has scary moments when a mind sinks in such chaos. I thin the mother is a very interesting personality. I read here on your blog somewhere that Meryl Streep would be a good mother. I like Streep, and maybe she would be great, but they need to get people of that caliber in this movie. This movie is presenting a person's painful life, an emotional chaos that millions of people share in the world. Just now cliche. If Emma Forrest is writing the screenplay, she should shy away from just wanting to make a sensational splash about her life, and look at how this film could help others. (Just my opinion.) I think this is an important book and it should be done well.
