Emma Watson and Lin-Manuel Miranda in NYC [March 10, 2016]

Just had a great conversation with @EmWatson for #He4She. We talked equality, sorting Hamilton, & I wore Slytherin.
linmanuelmiranda

The two had already met in the backstage of Hamilton (Lin-Manuel plays in it) last October.

There will apparently be a video of the meeting. Lin-Manuel tweeted to "stay tuned".

New Husband? She looks pregnant here after all. After those huge bruises on her cheek at women's day, it's safe to assume her tech junkie lover broke up with her due to her prioritizing her feminist campaign over her acting career, which is why she is such a terrible actress. I am a fan of Emma, but I hate everything she does, says and wears, and think women like us should know their place.

There, now all you regular commenters have nothing to say.

My actual comment is opposite of the above.

She looks lovely but whats the point of all this to post a pic of her cuddling a guy friend? He looks uncomfortable. If I were her boyfriend I will not like her doing that.

He's gay though...

can't wait until her him4she contract is over, this is going tedious now.

bring on the summer of 2017 when her 3 year contract is up....

we can have emma back

Wtf is wrong with all you people???
a) Not new boyfriend--Google Lin-Manuel Miranda. And they're clearly posing.
b) Her cheek wasn't bruised, it was lipstick stains.
c) Her actual boyfriend was wearing a HeForShe bracelet in pics with her, so he's clearly not bothered by the fact Emma has a life and priorities of her own, just like her campaign aims to make people understand.
d) "I am a fan of Emma, but I hate everything she does, says and wears, and think women like us should know their place." I fail to see what exactly you're a fan of if you hate pretty much everything about a person. "Women like us"--women like you don't seem to understand that your place is what you make it to be. Misogynyst comment at best.

This is Emma, get it into your thick heads. Not a fan of what she does outside of acting? Stick to watching her movies. She doesn't owe you or anyone an explanation for the causes she chooses to embrace or anything else in her personal life.

I am only interested in her as an actress but not in everything. I did not watch Regression because I do not watch that kind of stuff. I would not buy a cinema ticket just because Emma played the part. The part must be good and of interest. I am not a blind Emma fan. What she does otherwise I could care less.I will watch Colonia this summer in Germany. I might watch The Circle. The book was weird, but interesting in concept- B$Beast is just a film that most people are looking forward to. I still think she should have don Cinderella with Cate Blanchett.

Does she really want to be an actress? I thought she said after Brown that that is what she wants plus eventually directing and scriptwriting.
She is not an excellent actress, but she great potential, but she needs to patch those acting holes. Her emotions usually range into a kind of hysteria. Why doesn't she spend a year at RADA if she wants to act. Rooney Mara, Jennifer Lawrence, especially Saoirse Ronan and even Kristen Stewart are getting better roles than she is. She scampers around too much like a little mouse.

To "-D" I think that you are a funny person that protects Emma as that is your mom's T-shirt or pants. As that she can be whatever she wants just because she is your heroine and doesn't matter if she did a horrible work for while or that she just want to show herself as a "gorgeous" girl.

Anonymous said...

To "-D" what does it matters about her actual BF? If he wants or is already doing sex a HeForShe bracelet is not that important if he got already what he wants from her. She is just being played by "Mack". Good luck for her. Seems that UN Women do not had choice and got a little girl with no experience of real life and feminism to put to work.

Where these anons are coming from? Don't you have better things to do?

She seems to be D. Gray to me - The world is at her feet, for while, because she is beautiful.

Anonymous said...

I guess that she's preggo and that feminist will blow up from her as a BABY!!

Lmao--no, Emma isn't my heroine. I don't watch all of her movies, only those that might interest me, and I don't think her acting is the best. I question some of the things she's done, but I like her activism and the care with which she's handled her fame. That's far from me being a stan or considering Emma my heroine or role model: I don't.
You, on the other hand, think you're entitled to demand things from her: better acting, to quit her activism, to cut off her feminist stance, to choose this role and that, to dress differently. You're not entitled to that. She can do anything she wants, as any person; it's up to the fans to choose whether they want to support her on that path or not. You have a say as far as supporting her work goes. That's how actors get famous and rich: because you support their work, go see their movies, buy what they offer. If you no longer like that, you can stop. But you don't have a say in what she does with her life, because she's an independent individual, much like you wouldn't have a say in your neighbour's life. The fact that she's famous doesn't deny that fact. I should think this is a simple enough concept for you to understand.
And about her boyfriend, what is it to you if all he wanted was to sleep with her? Maybe she wanted that too? Maybe she's not being played because we actually don't know s*** about her private life and shouldn't speculate about it??
Good luck to all of you growing up.

I guess that first anon's comment went right over your heads, especially you, -D. Read it again.. SLOWLY.

Anonymous said...

First anon here, first time posting since I left that comment. Yeah, I was making fun of the typical commenter here and their incessant and completely bizarre negativity toward Emma, but looks like that didn't keep them from posting the same as they always do.

I like Emma, and I come here for Emma news. She's the only celebrity I follow in any respect. Maybe I'm not cut out for the celeb gossip game. Eden's posts are always good, but the comments are generally beyond awful. Just thought you guys should know, and hopefully take a step back and realize how absurd these comments are. It's...it's not normal.

As that UN Women is a place that has only one person that don't know what is doing there: Is she calling mens and getting universities envolved and losing time with her heforshe? Why it doesn't matter? How can that affect ur life? If u're going to think about that i can say that everything that she does show to us if she is mature or imature. Everything. How can she believe that Woman is pissed off by mens if you take that her relationship with Will Adamowicz - That loved and tried to get married with her. She LEFT the guy alone after the drugs and never tried to recover him - and she took Matthew Janney to piss off the guy - Look at her outfit or hapiness while she was dating Matthew Janney - in less than four months of break up? IS that what a feminist as her does to the men? She used to care only about her outfit everytime that she wents into a HeForShe conference - is that about the "freedom" that she talks? I do not want that kind of person at UN Women doing whatever she thinks that is right and make people lose their time with that and.

If she went at the bed with mack and he wants that too? Isn't a trouble to me.... it just show to me a kind of woman that she is... just that. A HeForShe Bracelet cheating her and he acting as that he believes into her work... nothing more.

I guess that the one that need to grow up here is you "-D". Her fans are really innocent.. most of time. Doesn't matter if u're a huge fan, u believe Emma and she is "betraying" everyone.. just it.

Our sheld Shelf/ HeForShe - Attracting costumers that is trying to give to her ideas or work a feminism view.. :P Good Luck for everyone.

To "-D" SOmething that i forgot to say: "Isn't that Drugs problems that will adamowicz had a part of her fame? Half part GUILTY?" - Just as an example.

Doesn't matter at all.. tsc. To "-D" i'm the wrong one losing my time with her followers.

The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. So if you don't like what she does, ignore her. Do yourselves a favour!

^^^ Yeah. See what I mean?

Wasn't this blog a tumblr at one point? Yeah, maybe that'd be better.

I thought she became kind of famous as an actress and wanted to continue as actress.
Macy
"Why doesnt't she take the time to improve her skills. I don't care if she is mediocre in her acting, but then why act. I loved her as Heromine in HP, but she has not developed her skills since then; her emotions are still very adolescent in their expression. -adolescent hysteria. She needs to learn to express these beyond that, and that is a difficult skill to develop. Very few actors can just do it. Even the wonderful Meryl Streep got a Masters in Drama at- I think Yale but maybe Harvard.
Again Macy

These to D post are absolutely confusing: I have no idea what this person is talking about!

Anonymous said...

Will Adamowicz does not have a drug problem. After the break-up with Emma he went on for his graduate and post-graduate degree. She looked happiest with him.

Anonymous said...

Careful about putting down Will Adamowicz.

Wow, I think these are her best photos in present year! And yes, IMHO, she is pregnant - just look into her eyes. It seems, like she is shining from inside!

Anonymous said...

Eden, I think it's time to cut off the comments again... and I'm sorry to say, I'm stepping back from this blog. I'm really uncomfortable with what's been brewing here.

Anonymous said...

Will was her best bet. I couldn't believe it when she started running after Janney. Will is a man.

Why ypu say emma is pregnant? This si not true, she has not pregnant belly

I just listened to the interview between emma and Gloria Stein...and am abhored that she nonchalantly said that she had an abortion because it did not fit in what she was doing in her life in feminism at that time. That is a human being that is growing the womb. I can accept if someone got raped but to be comfty- that is just wrong. No woman can except such a thing. I am not even pro-life in the strictest sence, but this just felt so wrong. Why couldN#t she keep her legs together or protect herself in another way, but to just say one has an abortion and thaat is in the book is the most normal thing in hte world- wrong and abnormal.
I can't believe Emma is promoting something like that for the good of the woman. What about gender equality in the womb to the weakest member of the human race.

Anonymous said...

Gloria Steinem had an abortion? But under what circumstances? she abortion because she wanted or what?

Anonymous said...

Go to Emma Watson facebook. You can listen to the interview in 3 parts. It is true-the baby grew at an uncomfortable time- didn#t want any kids.

Sorry i do not understand very weel, Then Gloria had an abortion becasuse this child does not fit in her feminist image?

Anonymous said...

lISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW ON eMMA#S FACEBOOK PAGE.
The way I understood what she said was that the pregnancy was inconvient. It was a feminist choice.

Anonymous said...

Right- Glory talks about stopping violence in the family, but advocates violence in the womb.
You have to listen carefully and critically, because Glory can be very likeable, but she is not true- especially about violence.
The means are the end
Destroy the fetus- no more men or women. HMM

A woman is free to choose whether to abort or not, but it is true to abort to keep your feminist image is not the most correct choice, you can be a feminist and have children, is a imagen very antiquated of feminism by part of Gloria Steinem
I would like to know the opinion of Emma about this, I would not like that Emma had that concept by the influence of Gloria

Sorry but my english is very bad, I can write but listen is very difficult for me
so You not scream me if I do not understand what you mean because for me the English is complicated, and it is difficult

Anonymous said...

Are you f****** kidding? Gloria didn't "abort to keep a feminist image". Some nutcase posted that in the comments here. There's absolutely no substance behind it.

Whether you are or are not a feminist has nothing to do with deciding if you personally are going to have an abortion. You could be the biggest misogynist in the world and get an abortion. And you certainly CAN be a feminist and have a child. Feminists are some of the biggest advocates for single mothers and even adoption. I can't believe I have to explain this to you people. You're beyond help.

Anonymous said...

Listen to the entire interview on Emma's facebook; 3 parts each about a half hour long. And she more or less says that it was inconvenient at the time in her life to have a child and she didn't want kids.
I heard it too. Yes the woman has the right to decide---but of convenience or inconvenience.

please you do not insult me, I said that my English is very bad I can write but hear it is very difficult, so I said this "Gloria Steinem Had an abortion? But under what Circumstances? she abortion Because she wanted or what? " because I do not understand, ok? I feel bad that you shout me, insult, the English is not my lenguage and for that reason I answer by if anyone can explain me, I only have answer If Gloria abortion by femnist imagen or Why she did this, I do not understand english but of course it is easier to come here and insult me

Just an aside-a fetus is a baby, a human life who is allowed to die in an Auschwitz womb, torn apart limb by limb. Just an aside to gender equality.

I am not the person who shouted at you. My comment (that said "are you f***ing kidding") was addressed to the person who shouted at you.

That person is trying to pretend Gloria had an abortion in order "to be a feminist" or "for feminism", which is hateful BS. I was expressing anger towards them for knowingly and purposefully spreading lies in order to further their malicious agenda.

(same anon that just commented here)

Furthermore, you should not feel bad because they shouted at you. They're a terrible, evil person, so it's not surprising they'd try to make you feel bad simply for asking a question and trying to understand.

You haven't done anything wrong.

Anonymous said...

Who shouted? What is she talking about? Could it be that the keys got stuck in all caps.

Anonymous said...

^ that's likely the only way they were able to describe in English the tone of the all caps post, which essentially was the text-form of shouting even without the caps.
