Emma Watson at the Ellen DeGeneres show

Emma on British vs. American guys:
“English guys are very well put together, they dress really well and they are very well mannered. But they are also very restrained. Usually in the whole courting situation, I‘m used to being first of all, ignored for the first two months of the ritual. And then maybe they’ll acknowledge my presence. Then, they’ll probably be a little mean to me. And then, maybe we’ll, you know…whatever. Then I arrive in America, and I remember a few nights into Brown [University], this guy just being like, ‘I like you. You’re great. Let’s go on a date. Let’s do it.’ I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, what just happened?’ This is like a huge culture shock for me. They’re very like open and very straight-forward—but they wear flip-flops and I don’t know if I like that.”

About Hermione:
"She's so innocent, she’s so good, that anything in contrast to her looks like crazy. I wear a pair of ripped jeans and they are like, 'Emma Watson wearing ripped jeans, what would Hermione say?' it’s like so scandalous."

About playing another character:
"I didn’t know if I believed in myself yet as an actress, outside the role of Hermione, which I knew I could do, and I did for a long time. I didn’t know if I had other people in me or not. I did doubt myself a little bit. I think I’d just played one person, who in many ways was similar to my own personality, and I played her for ten years and I got so comfortable doing that, that the idea of coming out and playing somebody else was terrifying."

About Tom Felton:
"Between the ages of ten and twelve I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton, to the extent that I would go into work in the morning and look down the numbers on the call sheet to see if he was going to be in. We love a bad guy, he was a few years older and he had a skateboard - and that just did it really. He totally knew (she had a crush on him) and the thing is that he’d tell everyone, ‘I see her in a younger, sisterly way,’ and it just broke my heart. It still does.'

Big messy Emma Watson update

I apologize for this very messy article, but my computer looking like it's about to die, I rather post all at once, just in case. I'll put the pictures in their right articles either once I'll be sure my computer's ok, or once I'll get a new one (but that wouldn't be in months). Good news is, maybe it'll teach me to post the pictures I have at the moment I have them.

Among these pictures, there'll be some that I found a while ago but I wanted either to make sure it was new, or find a better quality, or find more infos about it. I obviously never found the time to do so, so I post them anyway.

HARRY POTTER (I'm sure they're not all new, but it's Harry Potter, so we're not complaining about seeing a picture more than once, right?)
